Basic Tips
HintsTrailers can be linked together to transport larger loads. Rather than buying a large trailer, consider buying multiple smaller trailers so that you can use them separately for small tasks or combine them for larger tasks.
Small fields can be combined into a larger field, while large fields can be divided into smaller fields.
There are two silos near the railroad tracks that you can use at the start of the game when you don’t have enough money to buy your own silos.
If you back the water tank trailer into the river, you can load it to fill it with water. This allows you to get water for free.
At the start of the game, you can lease machines if you can’t afford them yet. Leasing machines won’t be practical forever, since you can’t upgrade or change them, but they can help you get started.
Some vehicles have multiple purposes. Try to use these vehicles so that you can accomplish several tasks at the same time, saving you both time and addition equipment expenses.
Be warned that if you drive over your plants, you will damage them. This (along with several other features) can be turned off from the options menu.
Don’t forget to weed your plants once they’ve started to grow. If you don’t weed your plants, you’ll earn less money from the crop once they’re ready.
Missions can be a good way to quickly earn money. They require only a small amount of effort, and they pay well.
Forestry is another good way to earn money. You’ll need a vehicle that can transport logs, but after that, chopping lumber becomes quite profitable.
While you can instantly transport a vehicle to the shop by selecting on the map and choosing the “reset” option, you lose anything that was in it (including fuel) when you use this option. Try to avoid using this option unless you’re willing to take the loss.
Your crops will have icons by them to indicate if the current price is higher or lower than usual. Watch out for surprise increases in demand, and you can make a nice profit if you have the crop in question on hand.
