Fishing: North Atlantic Cheats

Cheats

If you are an avid angler looking for an engaging game to pass by the time then Fishing: North Atlantic is the game for you. If you are looking for cheats for the game you can make use of a trainer like Plitch trainer or Wemod trainer.

Both trainers have great cheats. Plitch trainer has eleven cheats, five of which are free, and the remaining six are for premium users. Here is a list of the cheats on Plitch.

Free Cheats:

  • Prepare
  • Set Fuel
  • Low Fuel
  • Refill Ships Health
  • Low Ship Health

Premium Cheats:

  • Unlimited Fuel
  • Add Money
  • Reset Money
  • Godemode
  • Increase Max Cargo Weight
  • Set Max Cargo Weight

Trainers are pretty easy to use. Whether you use Plitch or Wemod you will first have to have them both installed on your device. Once they are installed you will need to search for the game through the trainer and access it. Before you can activate the other cheats you need to activate the prepare function. Then you can use any of the cheats when you need them.

Here’s a video on how to use Plitch Trainer.

How to Find the Hidden Boats

Unlockables

The first step to finding hidden boats in  Fishing: North Atlantic is to make sure your radar is upgraded to the high level you can get it. When you upgrade your radar to level three it will allow you to see about 1.1 nautical miles. This will help you track down any hidden items.

Vibeke Cathrin

Unlockables

From Ingalls's head, the first hidden boat we are going to find is the Vibeke Cathrin. If you go onto your map you will find it up near the top of the island on the left side with the bay. That is how to unlock the Vibeke Cathrin without the radar. If you have the radar you won't need to sail all that way. Just leave the harbor and your radar will pick up the ship and it will be unlocked.

The Fix

Unlockables

This is the next boat available near Ingalls’s head is the boat called Fix. This boat can be located across the channel to the right of the harbor on the second last island in the string of islands you will see there.

The Hermes

Unlockables

When you are at Digby, the harbor farthest to the north, you can unlock a boat called the Hermes. To unlock the Hermes you have to go down to the river/channel directly in line with the harbor on the right. Without the radar upgrade, you will have to travel to the end of the river. If you have the radar upgrade you can travel to the island at the mouth of the river and the boat will be unlocked.

The Borge

Unlockables

From Yarmouth, you can unlock the Borge ship. This ship is very close. If you back out of the port and you have the radar upgrade the ship will unlock straight away. If you don’t have your radar upgraded you will need to sail 242m straight down the channel between the islands and turn right to the thin neck of the island. There you will find the Borge.

The Selfie

Unlockables

The Selfie is next up and can be found in the channel just past the Cape Forchu Lighthouse and it will be right at the top of the channel. You can start from Yarmouth and come down to around the start of the channel. Once you have the radar upgrade you will unlock it at the start of the channel if not you will have to go up the channel.

Moby D

Unlockables

Another great boat from Yarmouth is the Mody D. According to professionals this boat is one of the most balanced boats in the game. From Yarmouth, leave the port and sail down past the channel to the selfie boat. If you have the radar upgrade you can park your bot on the right side of the channel. If you don't have the radar upgrade you will have to sail up the next channel down and the Moby D will be in the top right corner of that channel.

Fast travel not Working

Glitches

When you are on a small boat sailing through the vast ocean can be incredibly difficult and it can take a long time to reach your destination. That's why Fishing: North Atlantic has a fast travel function that will place you in the nearest port to your destination. Unfortunately, on occasion there I a glitch where the fast travel function doesn’t work properly. If this happens to you try to save and restart your console.

Here’s a video showing you how the glitch works.

Explore The World

Hints

Fishing: North Atlantic gives you an amazing map that you can explore with some incredible species of fish to catch and loads of boats you can buy, upgrade, and use different rigs on. To get the full experience of the game and to find and unlock new boats you will need to explore the map as much as you can.

Watch your Reputation

Hints

Having a good reputation in Fishing: North Atlantic is very important. If you look at the top right of your screen you will see your reputation. This decides how welcome you are in certain areas and whether you will fetch a good price for the fish you catch or not. The better your rep, the higher price you get for your catch.

Upgrade When you Get the Chance

Hints

Buying a new ship can be very expensive in Fishing: North Atlantic. You will definitely need to save up before you can buy a new vessel. In the meantime, it would be a good idea to invest in upgrading your current ship. You can upgrade the engines, radar, and how much it can carry. When your boat is fully upgraded it should be more efficient at sea and help you save the amount you need a bit faster.
