Unlockables

There is an alternate ending. After the very first cutscene, when Pagan Min leaves the table, remain at the table. If you stay idle for 13 minutes, Pagan Min will return to escort you to the tomb for the ashes, and then leave with you in the helicopter. The credits will begin.

Second Alternate Ending

Hints

To get the second alternate ending, wait until the final mission of the game, when you reach Pagan Min's Royal Palace. Find a Rocket Launcher, equip it, and enter the palace. When you confront Pagan Min, do not shoot him. Instead, let the game continue until Pagan Min gets in his helicopter. You'll return to gameplay while he's still in sight. Switch to the Rocket Launcher and shoot down the helicopter.

You can then head down the mountain and use the explosive there to blast open the doors. Continue on to find Pagan Min's corpse, which can be looted for his Golden Pen ($300,000), his Lapel Pin ($350,000), and $250,000.

With this ending, you'll be able to remain in Kyrat and continue playing.

Kyrat Fashion Week Quests

Hints

If you go to the coordinates 325, 384 (X, Y), west of the Kyra Tea Weigh Station, you can find Mr. Chiffon. Talking to him will trigger the Kyrat Fashion Week quests to appear at safe houses. To complete these quests, you'll need to find and kill the rare animals listed below.

Sky Tiger - Go to the entrance to the valley at Barnali's Textiles (444, 689) and enter the cave there. Use an assault rifle to take down the tiger.
Mad Devil - Find the cave at Keo Gold Storage (440, 815) and fight the wolves to get inside and find it. Use a bow or auto cross to kill it.
Shadow Leopard - This one is up on a tall plateau at Keo Logging Camp (417, 754). Use an assault rifle.
Ghost Bear - It's in the Keo Pradhana Mine (695, 620). Use a shotgun, particularly the SPAS-12 or '87.
Tenzin - It's at the Kyra Tea Terraces (391, 330). Use a bow or auto cross.
Black Water Dragon - It's at the Kyra Tea Weigh Station (346, 381). Use explosives (grenades, a grenade launcher, explosive arrows, C-4, etc.)
Gulo - It's at Pranijigat School (346, 625). Use a light machine gun.
Thick Skin - It's at Rajgad Gular (808, 788). Use Molotov cocktails.
Karkadann - Find the 6 crashed cards on the bridge at Shanath Breeders (381, 572) to find this one. Go to the bridge with six crashed cars. Use a shotgun, particularly the SPAS-12 or '87.

Easy XP and Money

Hints

To easily get XP and money, take the east entrance into the Shanath Training Ground. Use your C-4 to kill the nearby armored enemy. This will give you 240 XP, and you'll get an extra C-4. There are also two tigers in the area, which you can kill and skin. Each tiger skin is worth 7,000. Pause your game, save, and die. When you respawn, you will still have the XP and skins. Go back to the outpost and repeat these steps until you can use the Heavy Takedown skill. From this point on, use Heavy Takedown against the armored enemy to receive 400 XP instead.

At Kalinag's Descent, climb the ledge at 554, 453. Grapple to the ledge to your left, go to the ledge after that, and then grapple across the chasm. Make your way across a log to the next ledge with ropes hanging from it, and head toward the waterfall. From there, grapple to the platform below, and head right to find a huge statue. The skeleton lies beneath the statue's face.

Grapple from 302, 505 and then go right. When you reach 299, 509, enter the cave there. The skeleton is at the back.

There is a boulder by the tent at Lakeside Sherpa Camp. Climb up it and then head west to find the mask.

Start at 523, 514 and grapple up until you find an opening. From there, make your way across the ledges with the ropes the cross the area to a platform with the mask on it.

Outside the northeast section of the Shining Minds Seminary, the mask is on a corpse.

From 755, 702 , climb the hill and make your way to the ledge with the vines. From there, go left and up to find a white house. Inside, the mask is in a fire pit in the western area.

Grapple up from 758, 783, and enter the Ska'l Cave. The mask is on boulders at the back.

Mask 53 coordinates - X: 759, Y: 724

At the Sky Burial, go to the coordinates and use paths and grappling to get as high as possible. and keep taking the paths upward, then grapple up to the top. The mask is on a corpse on the east side.

Mask 54 coordinates - X: 796, Y: 677

Go to the east side of the Medicinal Poacher building. The mask is between it and a cage with a corpse.

Mask 55 coordinates - X: 832, Y: 682

Start from the coordinates and head upstream to Asru Cave. Behind the waterfall, grapple up to the platform to find the mask by a corpse.

To easily obtain the "Changing Lanes" trophy, equip the "Vehicle Takedown" skill, and then play co-op with another player. Make sure you are in the passenger seat while the other player drives. Drive beside an enemy's vehicle, which can usually be found near outposts or other enemy strongholds. Then press the right stick to take down the enemy.

To easily obtain the "Custom-Fitted" trophy, raise $200,000 of in-game money. Take the money to a merchant or weapon locker and purchase a weapon without attachments such as the AK-47. The purchase it's 6 paint schemes.

To easily obtain the "Easy From a Distance" trophy, go to a weapon locker and purchase the Recurve Bow and equip Marksman Sight. Locate a group of enemies and then mark their spot on your map. Keep an eye on the marker as you walk away, and once it reads 60 meters or more, aim and shoot one of them. To do this easily, do this from the Rochan Brick Co. Shipping outpost (X: 393.6, Y: 503.6), which you can select from the "Outpost Master" icon on the map if you've already liberated it.

To easily obtain the "Quad Kill" trophy, raise $160,000 of in-game money to purchase the RPG-7, or buy another explosive weapon. Trigger the alarm at the Rochan Brick Co. Storage outpost (X: 440.4,Y: 543) and look out for the reinforcements. There will be one vehicle that does not have a turret with four enemies inside. Shoot it before they get out. If you fail, let yourself die so that you respawn outside. You can select this outpost from the "Outpost Master" icon on the map if you have already liberated it.

To easily obtain the "The Sky is Falling" trophy, equip the "Vehicle Takedown" skill and get a Buzzer helicopter. You can find one at the Khilana Bazaar outpost (X: 305, Y: 422.8). Pilot the Buzzer and search for an enemy vehicle or convoy, which is most likely to be around outposts and other enemy strongholds. Fly to the vehicle's driver side door and press the right stick to take down the pilot.

To easily obtain the "Tread Lightly" trophy, enter any outpost and deactivate the alarm. Doing this allows you to defeat the enemies without fear. Should the alarm go off, let yourself die so you can respawn outside the outpost. One of the easiest is the Kyra Tea Weigh Station outpost (X: 344.5, Y: 379) since there is only one switch for the alarm. You can select it from the "Outpost Master" icon on the map if you have already liberated it.

To easily obtain the "Two Birds" trophy, go to the Rochan Brick Co. Shipping outpost (X: 393.7, Y: 503.5) with a sniper rifle and get as close as possible to the two enemies standing outside without letting them notice you. Shoot them in the head. If you do not kill them both, let yourself die so that you can respawn nearby. You may select this outpost from the "Outpost Master" icon on the map if you have already liberated it.
