To earn a lot of gold and experience, fight the enemies in the oasis at the western side of the Hissing Wastes. Defeat them for the experience and collect the Wyvern Scales they drop to sell them at 4,000 gold apiece. You can leave and come back for the enemies to respawn.
You can earn unlimited items if you open a chest that contains multiple items, leave at least one behind, and then fast travel to another location. This will work with chests that contain Amulets of Power and other items, as well, which lets you gain unlimited skill points.
One place you can do this is in Crestwood. If you have a Rogue with you and have the "Deft Hands, Fine Tools" perk (unlocked after four others in the Secrets tree), you can open a locked door to the right of the Crestwood fast travel location, and find a chest with an Amulet of Power and a Gold Amulet. Take the Amulet of Power, leave the Gold Amulet, and fast travel to another location. You can then return to get another Amulet of Power.
This may be patched out of the game.
Buy "The Mystery Box" from the chest by Deraboam in Val Royeaux to gain a mission called "The Big One?" on the war board. Send out an advisor, and you'll receive a War Nug mount.
Head west in the Hinterlands to get "The Master of Horses" and meet Master Dennet. He will offer you a Ferelden Forder from his stables for free.
Your party members will automatically find the best climbing paths. When one reaches a good point, switch to that character and then back to your own. Both will appear at the party member's spot.
You can find a cheese-shaped shield called the Wedge of Destiny in a chest on a high ledge by one of the Crestwood camps, near the first camp you visit.
Approach an NPC with a dialogue option, and jump before pressing "X" (PS4) or "A" (Xbox One) on the controller to start the conversation.
If timed right, your character will float above the ground moving their arms and legs like the "Moon Walk".
You will be able to move your character across the map while dancing, but this will stop if any action like looting, battle damage or attacking.
Several non-playable characters can also join the Inquisition, helping as either Connections, Forces, Secrets, or Inquisition agents.
There are several party members you can gain only by performing certain actions.
The following maps will lead you to hidden treasure.
