Where to Find Loot

Guides

Static Contaminated Zones

The game has two zones: the Pavlovo Military base (southwestern corner of the map) and the Rify Shipwreck (northeastern coast). While these locations have some of the best loot you can hope to find, they're permanently engulfed in contaminated gas.

You'll need to get your hands on a full-body NBC suit to enter these zones and still deal with hostile players. Fortunately, most players can't enter the zone safely, so it's definitely worth venturing into the gas.

The Northwest Airfield

This massive military base has several sections, all containing a decent level of loot, 3 tier military loot, to be exact. The sheer amount of gear available makes the airfield a prime spot for looting.

Because it's well-known how good the loot in the airfield is, it's a high-traffic area, meaning you're bound to stumble into another player. You should only dare to explore this location if you're confident you can make it out alive.

Military Bases

Military Bases provide a good amount of high-quality loot, which means they're particularly dangerous to explore. The Tisy Military Base, in particular, is a tier 4 loot area.

These locations are risky to loot, but if you're brave enough to venture in, there are plenty of tents, barracks, bunkers, and even jail cells to loot.

Tri Kresta

This military checkpoint spawns tier 4 loot, and while it is relatively small and out of the way, it's worth paying a visit. It sits just west of Krona Caste and south of the Biathlon Arena.

If you decide to venture into the area, do so cautiously, as there are bound to be a few players lurking in the area.

Derailed Trains

Derailed Trains are dynamic events that can appear in various locations around the map. They come in three forms (civilian, industrial, and military), each with different spawn points and loot.

If you're lucky enough to encounter a derailed military train, you'll find some unique containers with high-tier equipment. However, remember that these trained will be surrounded by industrial infected, meaning you should be prepared for a fight.

Helicopter Crashes

Helicopter Crashes are handly little events that can occur randomly around the map. They're a great way to come across high-tier military loot and weapons such as the LAR, the M79 Grenade Launcher, and the SVD.

Ensure you approach these areas cautiously, as they'll be surrounded by powerful military zombies and any hostiles attracted by the loud noise and billowing smoke. Loot the gear and vacate the area quickly to avoid being ambushed.

The Biathlon arena

Home to a couple of garages and summer houses for players to clear out and close to a large Summer Camp, the Biathlon arena is an ideal area to loot. You can find base-building supplies, high-quality clothes, and loot tier 3 items.

Lopatino Scrapyard

Industrial compounds like this one house some excellent gear. It's directly west of Lapation town, and its warehouses and containers spawn plenty of loot, including military gear and weapons.

It's a great spot for gathering supplies to build a base, as players will find plenty of lumber, nails, and sheet metal. Given how quiet the area is, it's also the perfect place to set up a base.

Military Camps

Military Camps and checkpoints are a great way to get your hands on some useful military gear without dealing with the same risk you would exploring a Military Base. They often lie untouched by players who would rather go for a bigger prize, with tents and barracks containing plenty of ammo, gear, and weapons.

Places like Ostry and Myshinko Tents are fantastic to explore, though they're usually zombie-infested, so be careful.

Summer Camps

These quiet areas are dotted around the map and are usually left by other players because they contain basic equipment, like hunting clothes, bullets, and medical supplies. They're perfect for stocking up on water, thanks to their wells.

Some of the safer Summer Camp areas include Youth Pioneer Camp near Dolina and Camp Metallurgist near Tishina Dam.
