Unlock Screen and Changes:

You'll notice several significant changes when you launch the game and access the unlock screen. These changes are meant to enhance the gameplay experience, and I'll guide you through them step by step. To illustrate these changes effectively, I'll showcase them in my saved file. Remember that we're using this space as it provides more room for displaying screens and information.

The Changes: Campfires and Card Burning:

One of the significant adjustments is related to campfires. In this mode, you can now only use campfires twice instead of four times in the regular game. Additionally, there's a higher chance of your cards getting burned when using campfires. This change aims to balance the gameplay and adds an extra layer of strategy, as you need to manage your campfire usage more carefully.

Improved Cave Event and Sigils:

The cave event has also seen an upgrade. In the improved version, you can choose between three cards, each possessing two sigils when you defeat this event. This change enhances your options, making the cards you acquire through this event more valuable and powerful. The significance of this becomes apparent when you witness the range of potent sigils available, which provide a considerable advantage during battles.

Removal of Puzzles and Leche Trials:

In the cabin, you'll notice that puzzles and leche trials are no longer present. This means you won't receive free buffs after every fight leading to the final boss. New Items: Three new items have been added. The "Magpie's Eye" helps you find a specific card, enhancing your deck manipulation. The "Clock" shuffles cards in a circular manner, creating new opportunities for tactics. The "Brush" removes sigils from your opponent's side, shifting the dynamics of the battle.

  • Willwild Bull: This card's damage increases with each sacrifice, potentially leading to a high-powered attacker.
  • Mole Man?: Mole Man transforms cards in your deck into itself when played, adding an element of randomness and surprise.

By completing challenges, you earn charge points, which can be used to unlock new cards, decks, and devlogs. Some Basic Do’s and Don'ts

Don’t Hoard Your Cards

It is usually preferable to concentrate on just a few highly potent cards and ensure you get them every match by having fewer cards unless you are using a strategy that specifically calls for a large deck.

Don’t Be Afraid of Sacrificing Cards

You should not be afraid to give up a card that deals one damage to place a card that deals three damage, either in a game or on the board. Similarly, you should not be afraid to give up a card with a poor sigil in favor of one that could use it more effectively.

Prioritize Your Good Sigils First

You risk missing out on some seriously amazing sigils from cards like the Cockroach, Cat, or Mantis if you go for every one with high damage and health. To better cards, these sigils can always be applied.

Go See the Painter and Mycologist

The Mycologist will combine two cards of the same type, and the Painter can duplicate a card with a success rate of about 90%. You can combine these two by making a copy of a potent card, merging the copy with the original, and creating a fantastic card.

Cheat If You Want To

It may seem strange, but you can quit the game from the pause menu, continue your run, and then restart if you were in the middle of a great run when you just died due to an error you could have avoided by playing better. This will only be helpful if the issue is a skill issue because it will not reset any random elements.
