You can unlock 8-bit sound on and off in the game by pressing Down, Right, Up, Left, Y, B at the Capcom logo screen. If done correctly you\'ll hear a chime. Then you can go to the options menu and toggle 8 bit sound on and off.

When you clock the game on normal difficulty you will unlock original NES music for both the stage select and the original stages.
