In order to play as a pirate, Take the key from under the bed in the bottom-left cell, carry it with you throughout the entire game, and then run it into the chest on the podium/beach ending screen's back right. 

It does not matter whether you are online or offline, go to the jail and head to the lobby but DON’T START THE GAME just yet!  Make sure to pick up the bread first (right click) and exit. Then make sure you bring the bread with you to the exit. You can use it to:

•  defeat the players! It can be used as a sword for you to be able to win the game.
• Brawl: You keep it for the following round as long as you hold it at the end of the current one!
• Heist: take the cash! Bring the bread to the exit without getting caught by police or the fbi.

To show emotion do the following: 

• Press 1 for laughing/mock
• Press 2 for heart/praise
• Press 3 for cry/mercy
• Press 4 for anger/rage
