Diablo 3 Hidden Camp Easter Egg
The Diablo series is known for featuring easter eggs and icon references. At the end of Diablo 3, Malthael wiped out half the population and left a path of destruction. The Hidden Camp from Diablo 3 has been included in the latest game as an easter egg.
The Hidden Camp from Diablo 3 is now called the “Forgotten Overlook” and can be found near the town of Denshar.
Nilathak’s Clan
In Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, Nilathak is one of the Elders in the Barbarian fortress of Harrogath. The elder betrayed his allies to make an agreement with Baal and was inevitably killed by the heroes.
Remnants of Nilathak’s people can be found in the Crane Tribe. His clan was exiled to a small camp in Dry Steppes on the map. You can interact with the tribe and ask questions about Nilathak.
Staff of Elemental Command
Jazreth, known as the “Summoner, " was a sorcerer from the original Diablo 1. Jazreth’s staff of elemental command can be found and used in the game. The weapon's description reads, “A powerful relic once belonging to Jazreth the Summoner, this staff was thought lost forever.”
The Butcher
The Butcher is one of the original bosses to feature in Diablo 1. The Butcher is notoriously hard to beat, and it’s impossible to find him; instead, he finds you and can spawn in any dungeon.
Hellraiser
The game refers to the Hellraiser movie in a side quest. You can find the side quest near Yelesna. In the quest, you must find a character named Feydor, clearly referencing the Hellraiser movie.
