Game Tips and TricksHints
Here are some helpful tips:
- Batteries are connected in series (inline). One cable runs from the transformer to the input of the first battery, the output from that battery is connected to the input of battery number two, and so on. It will maintain power through all sandstorms, nights, etc. by wiring 9 batteries in this manner, then connecting the final battery to the HAB.
- You can directly refill your mine's oxygen tank at the oxygen port on the mine's oxygen tank port if it has stored oxygen.
- Open the glass door to the scrubber inside the HAB, then press the "Fill Bottle" button to fill O2 bottles. then pickup the green bottle that has appeared at the bottom left of the inside of the scrubber.
- Use the two levers in the middle, once each on the left and right, to adjust the CO2 scrubber's O2 production for the best results.
- Keep in mind to construct two airlocks whenever you build the base's entrance. This will stop the room from losing pressure.
How To Grow Potatoes On Occupy Mars: The GameGuides
To successfully grow potatoes in your habitat, you will need to follow these steps: Ensure that you have four medium-sized solar panels to provide power to your habitat. Additionally, it's recommended that you have five batteries specifically for the habitat and one battery for the water supply as a backup.
Once you have your power source secured, it's time to plant your potato seeds in the incubator using the potato seed gun. Ensure that you close the incubator after planting and proceed with your regular tasks. The potato plants should grow within a few hours.
It's important to note that the potato plants will only grow up to 50% in the incubator. To transfer them to the crate, equip the crate and point it at the plant. Each potato plant will produce three potatoes, and your objective is to grow ten potatoes.
Once the potatoes have grown to 100%, it's time to harvest them by clicking on them and transferring them to your storage. Ensure that you switch your oxygen scrubber on when you are planting and off when you are done planting.
Lastly, it's essential to know that all the minerals you will need are in the tall rock located in front of your base. Although you may require a little bit of extra iron, everything else is available in this specific rock. Follow these steps carefully, and you'll be sure to have a successful potato harvest in your habitat.
When you're ready to construct the Canteen, you need to do this. DON'T immediately connect it to your habitat. Simply construct it using "airlock ghosts" as a guide. The "ghosts" should be placed on your canteen, then removed. When they are gone, construct your canteen.
Install airlocks on the SIDE other than the one you'll be using to connect to your habitat.
Construct CO2 scrubbers there. Start by setting 2.
Then establish a power connection to power up the area.
Set up the Well AND Sab with an O2 tank specifically for this building, let it fully charge, and then start the Co2 scrubbers to raise the O2 levels inside the building.
Connect the water and oxygen supplies to the canteen once the well and sab are fully charged (SOL 2 or 3 days). Pressurizing the canteen will take approximately SOL 8 days.
Connect the canteen to your habitat using two airlocks once the pressure is greater than 50%. Be careful because your entire habitat will become depressurized as soon as you do this. Your habitat won't be fully re-pressurized for several in-game hours. Keep your helmet on throughout this process! Additionally, keep plenty of O2 bottles on hand because your habitat won't contain enough O2 to keep you alive until everything has been restored.
You ought to now have a habitat that is fully pressurized and free of any well-related issues.terrains
