Tuning Your Starter Car to Dominate Races

Guides

Ensure you explore settings such as AI difficulties, customizing the setup, and other information regarding transmission, suspension, tires, etc. A well-configured setup will enhance your performance during laps. Go to the “Modifying Preset” option, and you can start making the following changes.

Aerodynamics

Aerodynamics helps with balance. If you select the Aerodynamics option, you will find that you can change two settings: Front Wing Aero and Rear Wing Aero. Set “Front Wing Aero” at 36 and “Rear Wing Aero” at 35. This will enhance your car's grip on the track and establish a balance between the front and back of the car during races.

Transmission

This setting mainly involves adjusting the differentials of the car and influencing how power is distributed to the rear wheels. When you select Transmission, you will find that you can adjust two settings: Differential Adjustments on Throttle and Differential Adjustments Off Throttle.

Set “Differential Adjustments On Throttle” to 56% and “Differential Adjustments Off Throttle” to 54%. These adjustments will prevent your car from losing balance during acceleration and improve its overall stability.

Suspension Geometry

This setting determines how your tires will respond to the surface of the track and enhance their grip when turning corners. You will find four adjustable settings in the Suspension Geometry section: Front Chamber, Rear Chamber, Front Toe-Out, and Rear Toe-In. Set “Front Chamber” to -2.50°, “Rear Chamber” to -1.00°, “Front Toe-Out” to 0.00° and “Rear Toe-In to 0.12°. With these adjustments, you can achieve balance for optimal speed during each lap without compromising tire wear.

Suspension

This configuration is crucial for the performance of your car, specifically when it comes to bumps, abrupt braking, and acceleration. You will find six adjustable settings in this section: Front Suspension, Rear Suspension, Front Anti-Roll Bar, Rear Anti-Roll Bar, Front Ride Height, and Rear Ride Height. Set “Front Suspension” to 15, “Rear Suspension” to 10, “Front Anti-Roll Bar” to 9, “Rear Anti-Roll Bar” to 1, “Front Ride Height” to 37, and “Rear Ride Height” to 40.

Brakes

There are two adjustable settings in this section: Brake Pressure (which determines the max braking power of the car) and Front Brake Bias (which refers to the proportion of braking force distributed to the front wheels. Set “Brake Pressure” to 100% and “Front Brake Bias” to 57%.

Tire

This section has four adjustable settings: Front Right Tire Pressure, Front Left Tire Pressure, Rear Right Tire Pressure, and Rear Left Tire Pressure. Set “Front Right Tire Pressure” to 22.9 psi, “Front Left Tire Pressure” to 22.6 psi, “Rear Right Tire Pressure” to 20.2 psi, and “Rear Left Tire Pressure to 20.2 psi.
