Roads are the pathways in and out of your city. Without them, your city wouldn’t exist. It is, therefore, essential to build roads that allow traffic to flow and avoid congestion. This means that you will have to construct interchanging roads and overhanging bridges.

The only way for roads to cross is if they are built over or under one another. To raise a road, you will first need to be in a road placement mode; it can be either curved, straight, or freeform mode.

Once in road placement mode, you will see a blue outline of the road you want to build. When the blue outline of the road is visible on your map, press the “Page Up” key to raise the road by a single level.

You can raise the road by multiple levels by continually pressing the “Page Up” key; this helps build intersections.
