To run The Evil Within it is recommended that you have a minimum of an GTX 460 or equivalent 1 GB VRAM card. The recommended graphic card for the best visual experience is an GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent with 4GBs of VRAM (or better).

The Evil Within requires that you have a minimum of an i7 or an equivalent with four plus core processor processor. For the best game experience an i7 with four plus cores (or better) processor is recommended.

Some games require a powerful CPU in order to manage the game engine. The game engine deals with things like processing network communications for multi-player games and the AI of your enemies in strategy games. Some games are considered CPU intensive or CPU dependent.
