On a picnic, occasionally, you won't get a single egg. Sandwiches, however, can improve your chances of getting eggs. A meal power called "Egg Power" can be found in the recipes. The ingredients for these recipes are available at the food stores in Mesagoza. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, your ability to hatch eggs quickly depends on your Egg Power level. Sandwiches with egg power include the Great Peanut Butter Sandwich and the Dessert Sandwich.

The method of hatching eggs is the same as in earlier episodes. The eggs must be carried a specific distance before they hatch. If you want the egg to hatch more quickly, you can also include a Flame-type Pokemon in your party.
