How to Unlock the Arcanist Class for Octopath Traveler II on Nintendo Switch

To unlock the Arcanist Class, you must first purchase a boat for 100 000 gold. Then, use the boat to travel across the map to “ The Lost Isle” on the Sundering Sea.

When you and your party arrive, you’ll need to climb up a long ladder to reach the top of a building. You will then be presented with a large maze and must find the correct path. You can find many useful items within the maze, but to unlock the Arcanist, you will need to find an invisible path. 

Move your characters to the left while standing on the maze platform, and you will find and start walking on the invisible path. This will take you to a new platform where you will find an NPC. Talking to the NPC will enable you to unlock the “Arcanist” class.
