How to Unlock Upgrades

At the beginning of the game, you can unlock different improvements by accessing the 'Skills' menu. These improvements are divided into three categories: Abilities, Ethereal Weaving, and Equipment.

Abilities focus on traversal options like gliding or moving while crouched. Ethereal Weaving relates to your magic attacks. The Equipment category includes arrows, Talismans, Prayer Beads, and food. To unlock these enhancements, you need Skill Points. You can earn Skill Points by leveling up or finding collectible KK Notes shaped like folders.

You can discover KK Notes in certain locations or purchase them from Handicraft Nekomata, special convenience stores. To level up, you need Experience Points. You can earn Experience Points by defeating Visitors, completing side missions, cleaning torii gates, and more.
