Cheat Engine has made its way to Dune’s sands, too. People are sharing pre-made “tables” that let you tweak all sorts of things for a (questionable) upper hand:

• Resource Multipliers: Gather double, triple—or ten times as much—metal, spice, or whatever resource you’re farming.
• Infinite Health/Shields: Take a licking, keep on ticking. Freeze your health bar in place and walk away from damage.
• Instant Crafting: Forget waiting around for weapons or vehicles. Hit a button, and… ding! All done.

You still have to do a bit of technical mumbo jumbo—attach Cheat Engine to the game process, load the table, and flip the right switches. Just remember: Funcom is actively on the hunt for people running scripts like these, so use it at your own peril.

Let’s be real—cheat tools exist in just about every game, and Dune: Awakening is no exception. The big players in this shady world are apps like Aimbot, ESP, and Speedhack. Here’s how they work if you’re curious (or just want to know what you’re up against):

• Aimbot: Instantly snaps your aim to enemy targets. Great for scoring easy hits in a firefight, but zero skill required.
• ESP (Extra Sensory Perception): Wallhacks on steroids. See enemy locations, resource nodes, and even objectives through solid terrain, all color-coded and labeled for your convenience.

Mentors aren’t just there for cool lore drops—they’ll open up new abilities and perks for your character as you find them:

• Bene Gesserit: Unlocks tricks like Compel (mind-control your enemies briefly) or Bindu Sprint for zooming around the battlefield.
• Mentat: Want gadget spam? These trainers let you use deployable turrets and craft oddball gadgets.

Some mentors even tweak your passives—like if you align with the Fremen, you’ll use less water in the wild, which can be a literal lifesaver.

Want to craft the very best gear? You’ll need to get lucky (and brave) in certain secret spots:

• Imperial Testing Stations: These out-of-the-way labs sometimes drop schematics for things like the coveted Emperor’s Wings (yep, personal flight modules) or the ultra-rare Khif Drinker.
• Deep Desert Rex Sites: Hidden in the deep sand, these locations hold blueprints for Plastaluminium gear—top-tier, best-in-slot stuff.

They’re random drops, but your odds go way up if you dare the PvP-enabled regions. Risk equals reward on Arrakis.

There’s a sneaky little nod to pop culture fans hiding in the desert near Harko Village’s trade hub. If you wander off the beaten path, you’ll stumble on what looks suspiciously like the remnants of Godzilla’s spine jutting out of the dunes. It doesn’t do anything special gameplay-wise, but it’s a sweet touch for sharp-eyed explorers who geek out over that sort of thing.

If you love treasure hunts, Dune: Awakening hides some juicy rewards for the truly nosy:

• Arrakis Crystal Caves: Northeast of Imperial Testing Station #23, unmarked caves sparkle with Arithrite crystals and hidden shielded containers. Sometimes you’ll score rare crafting schematics like the Steel Suit Garment.
• Chom Mineral Facility: It looks like a boring sand dune—until you find the partially buried entrance. Inside, there’s high-tech loot: EMF generators, rare fabrics, and weapon blueprints tucked away for patient explorers.

Pro tip: Bring a cutter tool to get in, and don’t expect the map to help you—these places have zero labels.

At one point, players found a sneaky way to double up on resources:

1. Harvest goodies like metal or crystal normally.
2. Plop a respawn beacon nearby.
3. Die and respawn. If another player was in the area, the resource nodes would magically reappear, ready for another round of farming.

Developers have since patched this out, so don’t get any ideas!

This bug let you fix up damaged gear without spending a single scrap:

1. Toss your broken stuff (like ornithopter wings) into a storage container.
2. Demolish the container.
3. Pick up the items and hang out in the main menu for a good 30 seconds or so.
4. Jump back in—and, voilà! All your gear would be as good as new.

• Vehicle Storage FTW: Ornithopter got a cargo hold? Pack it full before you trek back—no more slow-walking with a backpack full of ore.
• Plant Fiber Matters: You’d think there’d be more plants around, right? There aren’t. Grab every fiber patch you see and replant it using cultivator modules so you don’t run dry.

Want to survive more scraps and take home more spice? Mix up your tactics:

• Shotgun + Shortblade: Use your shotgun at point blank to break shields, then swap to your blade (hold left-click) to pierce through while the enemy’s still recovering.
• Parry for Pros: Parry enemy swings right as their attack hits for an instant counter. If your timing’s off, though, don’t blame me!
• Grenades for Crowd Control: Toss a grenade into a melee mob to scatter and disorient everyone—they’ll be sitting ducks for follow-up shots.

• Leverage Voting: The more your guild contributes, the more sway you have during the big Landsraad bonuses and votes. It’s not just about showing up, it’s about stacking the odds in your favor.

Trying Dune: Awakening for the first time? You’ll want to cover these basics:

1. Work Through the Tutorial: It’s not just busywork—follow those objective markers to get the hang of scanning, harvesting, and crafting.
2. Choose the Right Mentor: Want more movement and control tricks? Go Bene Gesserit. Prefer up-close swordplay? Go Swordmaster. Pick the flavor that fits your style.
3. Build Your First Base: Tuck it into resource-rich areas like trade posts or scavenger camps. Get a Blood Purifier (turn NPC blood into water—yes, it’s gross) and a Shield Generator as your day-one priorities.

2. Complete Weekly Tasks: Do at least four Lesser House jobs per day. That could mean delivering crafted goods or dominating PvP zones.
3. Lock in Points: Dump your rewards at faction quartermasters in Haga Basin to secure your point totals and claim control over tiles.
