When you complete Story Mode, eight stages will be unlocked.

• A.I.M.Brella – Laboratory Pathway
• Abel City – Sigma's Lab
• Avengers Tower – Lab
• Dark Kingdom – Wastelands
• Knowmoon – Gravitron Core
• Knowmoon – Walkway
• Xgard – Bifrost Bridge
• Xgard – Underground Prison

Four color options are available for each character, but only two are available by default. Complete Arcade Mode once with a character to unlock that character’s third color, and then complete Arcade Mode again with that same character to unlock their fourth color. (You don’t need to defeat the final boss, just Ultron Sigma.)

To easily unlock the colors, go with two characters at a time whose colors you need to unlock, and then set the difficulty to Very Easy, the time to Infinite, and the damage setting to Highest. It will still take a while, but it will be a bit easier.
