  • You can input cheat codes either from the pause menu or during gameplay. If you enter one from the pause menu, press start to activate it.
  • If you enter the cheat code during gameplay, make sure you press the buttons quickly so the game recognizes it as a code.
  • If the code calls for a directional command, enter it with the d-pad (digital pad) rather than the analog sticks.
  • Cheat effects only last for a single session. If you quit the game, you'll need to enter the code again the next time you play.

Collectibles Checklist: Spaceship Parts, Letters, Peyote, and Stunt Jumps

If you’re chasing 100% or just love a good checklist, here’s the big four:

  • Spaceship Parts (50): They glow and hum when you’re close. Many need a helicopter. Turn them in to Omega as Franklin for a cutscene and a one-of-a-kind ride.
  • Letter Scraps (50): Tiny glowing pages that piece together the Leonora Johnson mystery. Required for 100% and the “A Mystery, Solved” achievement.
  • Peyote Plants (27): Eat one, become an animal for a bit. Expect birds, dogs, boars, cougars, dolphins, sharks, and more. They’re tucked into parks, mountains, and seabeds.
  • Stunt Jumps (50): Marked as completed on your map once landed. 25 count toward 100%; all 50 unlock “Show Off.” Vehicle choice and approach angle matter a lot.

  • Frozen Alien (North Yankton, Prologue): During the opening bank job, take the right-side dirt road to the frozen river. Yep—there’s an alien under the ice, and it’s staring right at you.
  • No Country for Old Men Scene: In the Mount Chiliad State Wilderness you’ll find a busted drug deal—cars, bodies, and a briefcase with NULL,000 at the bottom of the hill. A perfect little Coen Brothers homage.
  • Back to the Future Trio:
    • Hill Valley Church near Vinewood Cemetery
    • “1.21 GW” stickers on electrical boxes around the city
    • Lester’s house has an “88 mph Time Travel” sticker
  • The Mount Gordo Ghost (11:00 PM–Midnight): Hike to the peak and you’ll see a woman in white over a bloodstained “Jock.” Unsettling, and a deep cut for series lore.
  • Whale Skeletons: Massive bones sit on the seafloor off Banham Canyon and near the east coast Seashark Race. Pure vibes, no rewards—bring scuba.
  • Submerged UFO: Far north ocean floor. It’s there, and it’s very not human.
  • Playboy Mansion Lookalike: Richman district, pool party at night. Can’t go in, but the vibe is immaculate.
  • Nico Bellic + Liberty City Winks: Check Jimmy’s laptop for Nico’s LifeInvader. Underwater, a clanging hatch taps out a familiar “fancy going bowlingNULL” in Morse code.
  • Red Dead Callouts: Franklin’s shelf has a “Red Dead” book, and there’s an in-game movie that looks suspiciously like it borrowed from Rockstar’s other universe.

Glitches That Still (Mostly) Work: From Invisible Limbs to Flying RPGs

Not all bugs are created equal. These are equal parts funny and chaotic:

  • Invisible Arms/Body Bits: Certain vehicle interactions can make limbs vanish while everything still “works.” Creepy, but hilarious in photos.
  • Ragdoll Ping-Pong: Catch points sometimes misfire and send you ricocheting into the ground like a loony toon.
  • Floating RPG Rounds: Fire explosives near specific water edges and you may get a hovering rocket that pops at random. Not great for accuracy.
  • Porta-Potty Dupes: Crash into the right portable toilet and you can spawn a ghost copy you can walk through.
  • Dry-Land Dives: Staircases can trigger swimming dive animations—on concrete. Your spine won’t thank you.
  • Note: These come and go with patches. Try at your own risk.
