1.6 Console Commands: Spawn Items, Test Builds, Bend the Rules

Cheats

Update 1.6 quietly blessed us with official console commands. Once you flip the save flag to enable debug mode, you can use in-game commands to experiment without installing mods.

Here’s the good stuff:

  • /debug iq ALL_ITEMS – pulls up a browsable list of literally every item.
  • Filter by category, like /debug iq ALL_ITEMS (W) for weapons or (BC) for big craftables.
  • Right-click and hold on an item to generate a fat stack quickly.
  • It’s perfect for testing late-game layouts, trying weapons instantly, or sandboxing farm designs. If you prefer to keep a legit save, spin up a second file and go wild.

Enable Stardew Valley 1.6 chat cheats/console commands on PC—turn on the feature to spawn items, test builds, and debug quickly.

Hidden Statues You’ll Actually Want to Hunt

    Déverrouillables

Stardew is packed with secret statues—some are just for show, others are huge.

    Highlights:

  • Old Master Cannoli (Secret Woods): He wants the sweetest taste. Bring a Sweet Gem Berry to receive a Stardrop (permanent max energy boost).
  • Grow it from Rare Seeds (Traveling Cart, Fri/Sun; usually Spring/Summer stock).
  • It takes 24 days in Fall, so plant on the 1st.
  • Golden Lewis Statue: Complete Secret Note #19 to nab a golden tribute to the Mayor.
  • Krobus Statue: Requires high fishing (Level 15 with buffs) and a specific cast spot near the Sewer entrance.
  • Secret Woods access: Normally needs a Steel Axe to clear the big log, but advanced players sometimes use a chair skip to get in early.
  • These hunts are a fun break from farming and some rewards are top-tier.

Stardew Valley’s hidden and secret statues you may have missed—a quick roundup for collectors hunting rare decor, easter eggs, and rewards.

    Junimo's

    Œufs de Pâques

On the main screen click on the leaves, Junimo's should appear.

    Little Alien

    Œufs de Pâques

On the main menu keep clicking on the E in dew evenutally you will see a little alien.

    Junimo Plush

    Œufs de Pâques

The Junimo Plush can only be found in that bush to the north of the playground in the northwestern area of Pelican Town. You’ll have to be there at exactly 12:00pm on the 28th day of a season. Thus far, it’s been confirmed that the plush will appear in both Spring and Fall, with unconfirmed reports of it also appearing in Winter. It’s likely it’s there in all four seasons, but if it doesn’t appear for you in Summer or Winter, that’s likely the reason. Just examine the bush at exactly 12:00pm on the 28th, and you’ll acquire the plush. That’s all there is to it! Secret Clicks: Aliens, Junimos, and a Very Judgy Moon

    Œufs de Pâques

Stardew’s menus hide a bunch of tiny delights if you poke around.

    Try these:

  • On the title screen, click the letter “E” in “Stardew” a few times to summon a tiny alien.
  • Click the leaves on the title screen to coax Junimos out of hiding.
  • On the shipping screen during a full moon, click the moon 11 times to reveal a cranky moon face.
  • On the map, click the little ocean rock south of the beach; click again while the sound plays to close the map.
  • In the Relationships > Gift Log, once you hit 4+ hearts, click a character sprite for a custom animation.
  • On Winter 24, watch for Santa and his reindeer cruising across the night sky.
  • None of this changes gameplay—it just makes the valley feel alive.

Stardew Valley easter egg: click the title screen E to reveal the alien door. Watch how to trigger this hidden alien from the Stardew logo.

    Early Galaxy Sword

    Glitch

This works on any platform. Once you get the catalog from Pierre's store find a light green wallpaper, then go to the calico desert (unlock this by rebuilding the vault at the community center) find the pillars in a triangle shape. Pull out the wallpaper hold it in the middle of the triangle. The game will think you got a prismarine shard and there for gives you the galaxy sword early. Enemies in the mine/skull cavern have a rare chance of dropping a prismarine shard. This happens because the light green wallpaper has the same item ID as the prismarine shard does.

    Out of bounds

    Glitch

Works on all platforms. Get to a loading area pull out a sword or your scythe keep swinging for a while until you can't see yourself but keep swinging for about another minute or so just to be sure. Then start to move around. If your screen goes black and then you are in a different area then try again.

    Land shark

    Glitch

Works on all platforms. Go to the bath house where you enter the changing room turn around and use the Out of bounds glitch. To do the land shark make sure you have a fence post with you. Once out of bounds go into the pool skipping the changing closet. Jump into the pool move forward a little bit then turn around, place the fence post. Now get out of the pool and jump into the pool where the fence post is, now get out of the pool. You will be doing what I call land sharking because you are swimming on land. What this does is while you're farming your energy keeps replenishing same with mining too. It also replenishes your health. When you go to sleep it will stay. when you exit the game and come back simply go back to the bath house this time you do not have to go out of bounds because the fence post will still be there. So just jump in and swim out. *note you do not have to have clothes on to do the glitch on the same save file after it is done once already!*

Name Codes That Spawn Items: The Classic Duplication Exploit

    Glitch

Yup, the name-based item spawn trick still works on PC (and even survived 1.6). Put item IDs in square brackets in your farmer or farm name and you’ll receive those items every time your name pops up in dialogue.

    How it works:

  • Name yourself like [163][166][434] to get a Legend (fish), Treasure Chest, and Stardrop whenever an NPC says your name.
  • Gus at the Saloon is your best friend—he repeats your name a lot.
  • You can also use the trick on animal names to get a one-time item when you buy them.
  • Notes:

  • IDs must be unique for animals (no duplicate animal names).
  • Console versions patched this years ago. On PC, it’s still kicking.
  • Master the Stardew Valley item ID name glitch (1.6 PC) to spawn items and use the duplication exploit. Leverage NPC dialogue and animal names to farm Legends, Treasure Chests, and Stardrops fast.

Speedrunner Tricks and Wild Exploits (Use at Your Own Risk)

    Glitch

If you’re in a “break the game for fun” mood, these are legendary.

  • Animation Cancel Milking: With a specific key combo, you can cancel the milking animation while still gaining friendship. Rinse and repeat to take livestock from 0 to max hearts fast. Keybinds vary by setup, so experiment.
  • Chair Skips: Place a chair to clip past the Secret Woods log for early hardwood and secrets (precision required).
  • Multiplayer Dupes: Two players grabbing the same item from a table/chest at the exact same moment can both get it while only one is removed. Timing and coordination are everything.
  • Ginger Island Walnut Reset: The chat command /recountnuts restores spent Golden Walnuts while keeping purchases, letting you loop for resources like Qi Gems.
  • These can nuke progression balance—great for testing, maybe not for your main save.

See which Stardew Valley 1.6 exploits still work. We test dupes, animation cancels, chair clips, and more - what's patched vs. viable - for speedrunners, glitch hunters, and min-maxers.

What Still Works in 1.6: Patched, Preserved, and Platform-Specific

    Glitch

Not all exploits survive every update, and some are platform-dependent. Quick status check:

  • Patched: The Statue of Perfection duplication is dead in 1.6. No more infinite iridium statues.
  • Still Works: Wallpaper ID swaps — The light green wallpaper (ID 75) behaves like a Prismatic Shard in key places (yes, even the Galaxy Sword). The purple dotted wallpaper can act like a Dinosaur Egg in an incubator.
  • PC vs Console: The name-based item spawn exploit is PC-only now; most consoles patched it long ago.
  • Legacy Randomization: If you prefer the old clay farming patterns and other predictable spawns, choose Legacy randomization when creating a new farm. Standard 1.6 uses more randomness.
  • If you’re hopping between platforms or revisiting an old save, knowing what’s “in” saves you a lot of testing.

Stardew Valley 1.6 glitches that still work. Learn which exploits remain after the update and how to use them on PC and consoles. Perfect for players checking patched vs preserved tricks.

    Un-till

    Indices

If you accidentally till a spot that you do not want to just simply hit it with your pickaxe,

Strange Capsule, Witch Visits, and Other Spooky Events

    Indices

The valley gets weird—in the best way.

  • Strange Capsule: After Year 1, you might hear a UFO-ish sound at night and find a capsule on your farm. A few days later, it breaks. After that, a shadowy alien will occasionally appear at night (often by the Bus Stop) and vanish if you approach. Sometimes it even waves.
  • The Witch: She can fly over your Coop and leave a Void Egg, or turn unprotected Slime Hutch slimes into Black Slimes. If you’ve hit True Perfection, she can drop Golden Eggs too.
  • A Winter Mystery: Enter the Bus Stop between 6 AM–4 PM in Winter to spot a shadow figure. Follow the footprints to a bush near the playground to get the Magnifying Glass (lets you find Secret Notes).
  • Keep an eye (and ear) out—these moments make each save feel unique.

Explore hidden secrets in Stardew Valley 1.6—spooky events, rare encounters, and mysterious surprises around the valley. Perfect for tips on Strange Capsule, Witch flyovers, and Winter Secret Notes.
