Two additional chefs will be unlocked and added to the roster once you completed Overcooked and Overcooked 2. Numerous chefs also have additional color variants you can select after choosing the chef, already available by default.
Complete orders as quickly as possible, but also keep an eye on received orders to know what’s coming up next. Try to plan out your actions in advance.
If you’re playing co-op, you need to work together with the other players. Communicate and cooperate in order to get through successfully.
Divide tasks between you ahead of time so that everyone has a role to fulfill.
You’ll get a bonus for fulfilling orders in order from left to right.
Running can help you save time, but be careful not to run into other chefs and knock them down.
A warning icon will appear on the screen if an ingredient is in danger of burning. Keep your eyes open and pay attention to what you left cooking.
Pay attention to your customers’ patience, too. Green means their fine, but it will change to yellow, orange, and finally red as they grow more impatient. If a customer loses patience completely, they’ll abandon the order and you won’t get anything for completing it. Make sure there is enough time to start an order before you begin it.
There is rarely a moment when you won’t have anything to do. Try to maximize your efficiency by completing a task while waiting for something else to finish whenever possible.
If you’re in a situation where you need to throw an ingredient to another player, make sure they know it’s coming and aim for them as best you can to avoid wasting time by knocking them back or making them pick it up.
Stack plates before taking them to the sink so you don’t need to make as many trips.
