Splinter Cell goggles
Easter EggsIn the present-day sections, one of the back rooms includes a pair of goggles lying on top of some boxes. These are the Multi-Vision Goggles from the Splinter Cell series.
Black Panther reference
Easter EggsOn a southeastern island in Messara, you can come across villagers fighting at the top of a waterfall, with an audience watching. This scene is a nod to a similar scene in the movie Black Panther. If you join the fight yourself, the audience will run away.
Rabbids
Easter EggsIn the present-day sections, one of the back rooms includes a Rabbid figurine on a shelf.
Sword in the Stone
Easter EggsAt the very top of the tallest mountain in Lakonia, the highest point in the game, you can find a sword embedded in a stone. This is most likely a reference to the legend of King Arthur, who drew a sword from stone, or the story of the sword of St. Galgano, which can be found in Italy. While the King Arthur legend is better-known, the sword being located on top of a mountain makes it fit the story of St. Galgano better.
Korok Seeds
Easter EggsOn a small island in Pandora’s Cove in Malis, near the edge of the rocks, you can find a circle of stones with a small figure in the center that resembles a Korok from the Legend of Zelda series. This is a reference to the Korok Seed puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Skull and Crossbones
Easter EggsAt the Obsidian Islands, if you climb to the highest mountain peak, you can find a skull and crossbones. Being a typical pirate symbol, this is most likely a reference to either Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag or Ubisoft’s upcoming pirate game Skull and Bones.
New to AC Odyssey. Have followed story line, used Icaros to locate Marcos in the Vineyard but when I approach Marcos there is no cutscene. Marcos just ignores me. The game seems great and I am totally frustrated not being able to move forward. I am playing on XBOX series X. Anybody have similar situation? I will greatly appreciate any help I can get.
