The above screenshot isn’t the only new piece of material related to Dragon Age: Inquisition to come out recently. While it’s very nice, and we’re happy to see so many characters (Varric, Solas, Iron Bull, Cassandra, and Vivienne alongside the Inquisitor), we bet anyone who is thinking about preordering the game or buying the Deluxe Edition will be even more interested in hearing about the Flames of the Inquisition.

The Flames of the Inquisition bonus content includes a set of weapons, armor, and an armored mount.

Now, if you’re especially interested in the bonus content that comes with the Deluxe Edition, we’ve also gotten our first look at the Skyhold Throne, Red Hart Halla, and Bog Unicorn.

So, let us know your thoughts. Are you planning to order Inquisition, and if so, do these bonuses make you more interested in getting a special edition and/or preordering?

Another Half Hour of Wolfenstein Gameplay

April 26, 2014 by Samantha Lienhard - Leave a comment

Wolfenstein fortress

As promised last week, Bethesda took time on April 24 to stream more of Wolfenstein: The New Order. This time, it clocks in at just a few minutes under a half an hour.

If you missed the live stream, you can check out Bethesda’s Twitch archives, or watch the video embedded below.

So, assuming you’ve watched both videos, you’ve now seen about an hour of in-game Wolfenstein footage. What do you think? If you still aren’t sure if you want to pick up the game on May 20 or not, one more live stream is planned for May 19. Check it out, and be sure to let us know your thoughts.

On the other hand, if you’ve already convinced this is a game for you, we want to let you know that Best Buy is giving out $20 in reward certificates to anyone who preorders, in addition to access to the Doom beta, which all preorders get.

The Last of Us Remastered Confirmed for PS4

the-last-of-us

It looks like PlayStation Turkey Vice President Sercan Sülün was right after all–The Last of Us IS coming to the PS4 this summer, as The Last of Us Remastered.

This morning, an unexpected sight met the eyes of players who visited the PlayStation Store’s website. The Day 1 Digital Edition of The Last of Us Remaster was boldly displayed, despite no official announcement that it even existed. At the time, the link didn’t work, suggesting the ad wasn’t supposed to be there yet.

The Last of Us Remastered leak

It’s not every day Sony’s own store leaks a major announcement.

A few hours later, SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida officially confirmed it.

The Last of Us Remastered will include the main game, the Left Behind DLC, the Abandoned Territories map pack, the new Reclaimed Territories map pack, and a director’s commentary featuring Creative Director and Writer Neil Druckmann, voice actor Troy Baker, and voice actor Ashley Johnson. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson voice Joel and Ellie, respectively.

Sony also announced the preorder bonuses:

  • 100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode
  • Two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after your complete the single player campaign
  • Increased Crafting Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • Increased Healing Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • 9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign

Preorders from the PlayStation Store will also receive:

  • Early Access to the Brawler Survival Skill in Factions Mode
  • Early Access to additional Loadout Points for use in Factions mode
  • Early Access to the Jeep Cap and Surgical Mask for use in Factions mode

The game will have a resolution of 1080p. Although the frame rate isn’t set yet, Naughty Dog is “targeting” 60 fps.

The Last of Us was a huge success, so this sounds like a smart move for Naughty Dog and great news for fans. If you wanted to play the game but didn’t get a chance, or if you’d just like to play it again with enhanced graphics, now’s your chance. Are you planning to buy it?
