Even if you may not be thinking to yourself, let me advance in career mode, this is the best place to learn your way around the garden. Career mode will help you learn the mowers in which you can ride and also help you gain your bearings in the new environment. Learning how best to go about your job is the most crucial part of the Lawn Mowing Simulator. It is also advised not to take the challenges as they appear, as they are harder than you might think if you have not got your bearings around the areas and the tools that you use.
Before you even jump on your nifty rideable lawn mower, make sure to do a ground/valuable check, this will enable you to find items that will give you money and enable you to find items that customers have lost. You can earn up to about £20-£50 per item you have found or about £500 or more when you recover the customer's items, so make sure to check tables, cars, the grass, and more places before you even hop on that mower.
Mower Maintenance is one of the most important things to do, the best way of maintaining your mower is to do maintenance at the end of every job, make sure that you fill it up and empty the hopper as well. When on the job as well, there are ways to make sure that you do not damage your mower, such as turning off the blades when heading over a path to prevent damage to them. You can even hop off your mower during a job to refill the fuel or to repair the blades, so make sure to keep an eye on your gas tank and refill as you go.
Make sure that you know the mower that you are driving, some missions have a cutting height requirement and you might only notice that your mower does not meet those requirements once you have almost finished the job. So always double-check the stats required for the job and the stats of your lawn mower before starting the job. Another thing to check is to make sure that you are not overstraining your mower by having it cut taller grass all at once if you are using an early mower. The more strained the motor, the more maintenance it will require, which means more money for you to shell out. The way around this is to either cut slower, cut less grass as you go, or cut twice(once at a higher height and then once at the height required).
