Amnesia: the bunker Cheats

Amnesia: the bunker is perfect for keeping gamers on their toes. To add to the thrill you can also use cheats to give you an edge on the monster. To make use of these cheats you would need to use a cheat engine or trainer. To trainers we would suggest are Plitch and Wemod. Here are the cheats Wemod offers:

  • Godmode
  • Infinite Ammo
  • Edit Game Speed

Here are the cheats offered by Plitch:

  • Unlimited Ammo
  • Unlimited Health
  • Refill Health

It’s fairly simple to use a trainer. First, check that the trainer supports the device you are using and then install it. Once installed, search for the game through the trainer and enter it. Click on “prepare” and the cheats will be ready to use.

Unlocking Delisle's Locker

Delisle's dog tag is located in his room next to his body. To access his room, there are two options. The first is to blow down the door, giving direct entry. The second method involves going through the officer's lounge adjacent to Delisle's room. Once in the lounge, head to the back corner where there's a vent that isn't securely screwed in place.

You can simply pick up the vent and move it out of the way. Some planks might obstruct the path, but they can be easily pulled off the wall, allowing you to reach Delisle's room and retrieve the dog tag. You will find the code to his locker on his dog tag.

Unlocking Clements Locker

Clements's dog tag is in Soldier Bunker B. To reach the barracks, you must first obtain the emergency valve to open the door leading to maintenance. Once the maintenance door is open, they can proceed down the hallway to access the barracks area. However, it's essential to know that the entrance doors to the barracks are locked, posing an obstacle to entry.

To overcome this, you have three options at your disposal. They can either use heavy objects to knock down the wooden doors or resort to explosives to blow them open. Alternatively, players can choose to take a different route and find the secondary entrance, which is located on the other side of the room.

To access the secondary entrance, you need to navigate through the halls, making a left turn and then another left until you discover the alternate entry point. By following these steps, you can successfully enter the barracks and proceed with your mission.

Unlocking Staffords Locker

Foreman Stafford's dog tag is located inside the pillbox, which serves as a lookout station for soldiers to oversee the battlefield and engage in shooting. The pillbox can be found in the Pillbox section, just beyond the soldier's bunks.

To retrieve the dog tag, there are a few steps to follow. First, players need to unlock the pillbox door or use explosives to blow open the storage room door adjacent to it. Alternatively, they can blast through the wall that separates the pillbox and the storage room. Once access to the pillbox is secured, players should ascend the ladder inside to reach the upper level.

Up there, they will find the dog tag lying on the ground near a body. Additionally, there is a Foreman's locker that can be opened to obtain the wrench. By successfully completing these actions, players can retrieve the dog tag and the wrench to proceed with their objectives.

Past Events

Easter Eggs

Amnesia: The Bunker and Rebirth are praised for their immersive 3D environments and tense atmospheres. However, it's their 2D collectibles that truly shine with their striking visual art direction. In Rebirth, cutscenes and memories feature detailed character sketches and recovered photographs of the expedition crew, adding depth to the storytelling.

Similarly, in The Bunker, players can collect notes and dog tags from fallen comrades, but the real gems are the photograph mementos of past events. These photos capture poignant moments, like Lambert's family visiting the Eiffel Tower before the war, and Tasi and her husband Salim posing together at a memorable location. The design attention to the period depicted in these photos mirrors the meticulousness seen in Rebirth's visuals, making them valuable and engaging additions to the overall experience.

Keep an Eye Out for Hiding Places

When exploring the shelter, be vigilant for hiding spots, as they can save your life when the monster is nearby. Remember the location of tables, closets, or any objects that can conceal you.

If you sense the beast's presence, avoid trying to outrun it, as sprinting creates noise. Instead, quickly seek out a hiding spot and wait until the danger passes. The beast will search the area for some time, but staying quiet and patient will eventually make it leave.

Lure the Beast Away to Escape

To outsmart the monster in the Bunker, try some clever tricks. If you want to go to a certain area but don't want to encounter the beast, lure him away with distractions. Toss bottles or flares in the opposite direction to sneak past quickly.

For a more advanced approach, lead the beast to different areas. Make noise far from your destination to attract him. Use your flashlight, throw objects, or drop a flare. While he investigates, quietly returns to where you wanted to go. This tactic can keep the beast occupied for a while, as long as you avoid loud noises.

How the Generator System Works

The Generator in Amnesia: The Bunker is a crucial tool for survival, as it restores power to the lights and machinery in the dark and eerie World War 1 structure. This guide will walk you through how the Generator system works and how to use it effectively.

To find the Generator, head down the stairs in the Administration Office, which is situated in the Central Bunker area. Once you have acquired the soldier's pistol and ammo, exit the Mess Hall, and shoot off the padlock from the door outside. Descend the stairs behind the door with a red light above it, leading you to the Administration Office. This room will serve as the Save Room for the game, where you can save progress, access the bunker's general map, and manage your inventory.

The Generator requires Fuel to function. You can use either regular Fuel Canisters found throughout the bunker or Fuel Bottles, which are glass bottles filled with fuel. Approach the Generator with the desired fuel item equipped. Then, aim and interact with the funnel to pour the fuel into the Generator. Both types of fuel will provide the same amount of power.

Each Fuel Bottle or Canister added to the Generator increases the Fuel gauge by two ticks. However, the gauge doesn't move to the exact location of the second tick when adding fuel. Instead, the gauge fills to the nearest second tick. For example, if you add fuel when the gauge is empty, it will move to the second tick. Adding more fuel when the gauge drops to the first tick won't move it to the third tick but back to the first tick. You can use this strategically by refueling just before the gauge crosses between a pair of ticks, effectively turning a single fuel into four ticks on the Generator's gauge.

Upon visiting the Generator for the first time, you'll find a pocketwatch nearby. This pocketwatch is synchronized with the Generator's Fuel Gauge, allowing you to keep track of how much power is left before everything turns off again.

Activating the Generator is essential for easier and safer exploration and navigation within the bunker. With the lights on, the monster known as The Beast is less likely to leave its hideout in the walls and patrol the bunker. The only time The Beast will leave its hole in a lit area is when a loud noise occurs nearby, such as a gunshot or explosion. Additionally, the Generator is necessary to complete specific objectives, like obtaining the Arsenal Code from the Communications Room in the Soldier Quarters.
