Where to Find the Weapon Parts

Guides

There are seven weapon parts you’ll need to find to complete the “Part Enthusiast” challenge. Every part except one can be purchased from the merchant and will become available as you progress through the story. They’re technically missable if you run out of money.

You can combine each weapon part with a weapon to add a modification. You can also store the attachments at the typewriter save points if you don’t need them.

  • Biosensor Scope: You’ll find this part in Chapter 13 in the Incubation Lab, which you can get into using the level 2 card on the door in the hall south of the Freezer.
  • Scope: Can be bought from the merchant for 4000 ptas.
  • Laser Sight: Can be traded from the merchant for 10 Spinels.
  • High-Power Scope: Can be traded from the merchant for 7 Spinels.
  • TMP Stock: Can be traded from the merchant for 8 Spinels.
  • Red9 Stock: Can be traded from the merchant for 9 Spinels.
  • Matilda Stock: Can be traded from the merchant for 12 Spinels.

Every Clockwork Castellan Location

Guides

There are sixteen Clockwork Castellans hidden across the game, one for each chapter:

  • Chapter 1: You’ll find the collectible in an area called “Lakeside Settlement.” When you get to where the dynamite thrower is, you’ll see the Clockwork Castellan sitting on the broken roof. Climb through the window into the house and look up at the roof. The Castellan makes a distinct sound, so you should be able to hear it.
  • Chapter 2: After using the Hexagonal Emblem to open a gate, go upstairs to a wooded area and enter the first hit on the left. Shoot the figurine.
  • Chapter 3: From the merchant in the Quarry, jump down the ladder, go to the end of the pier, and look up to see the Castellan between the roof and wooden boxes.
  • Chapter 4: Park the boat in the northwest area of the lake, where you can use the Insignia Key on the locked gate. There’s a ladder behind it that leads to the Forest Altar area. You should be able to spot the Castellan through a fence.
  • Chapter 5: Starting from the Village Square, head south to the Village Chief’s Manor. Once inside, go to the bedroom, pull the level, and boost Ashely up the ladder. The Castellan is on the left side of the attic, behind a yellow destructible crate.
  • Chapter 6: After encountering the first enemy in this chapter along a hill path, the Castellan is right beneath a bonfire just before you reach the “Checkpoint” area.
  • Chapter 7: After surviving your first Garrador encounter, you can open the dungeon door and climb upstairs to the storage room. You’ll find the Castellan on top of a shelf.
  • Chapter 8: Once you’re outside and reach the top of the castle walls, a Giant will throw rocks at you. Drop down the right side of the tower, near the west of the map, and enter the second tower in the west. Once on the rooftop, circle the tower to find the Castellan at the end.
  • Chapter 9: You’ll find the Castellan in the northwest corner of the courtyard maze.
  • Chapter 10: Just outside the merchant in the sewers, directly across from the room he’s in. You’ll see the Castellan head behind bars. It’s hanging upside down, and you may need to walk quite close to the bars to see it.
  • Chapter 11: You’ll find the Castellan after the first minecart ride on top of the Stopover building wall. You can shoot it from inside the building. Make sure to hit it before getting on the second minecart, or it will be lost to you for that playthrough.
  • Chapter 12: Once that chapter starts, you’ll want to head inside the golden Gondola and through the gate to enter the “Clocktower,” a room filled with enemies. It’s sitting on a box in the northwest corner of the room. Get it before heading upstairs.
  • Chapter 13: After the first encounter with a rocket launcher enemy, go through the next gate and head down the right path. You’ll encounter another four enemies. Once you’ve defeated them, you can look for the Castellan between the green forklift and the orange container truck in the right corner of the room.
  • Chapter 14: After the cutscene in the Amber storeroom, head through the big gates to enter a tunnel and walk South. You’ll find the Castellan in a little building, sitting on some lockers.
  • Chapter 15: Head through the Ruins and enter the next building, a dark room with body bags hanging from the ceiling known as Specimen Storage. North of this area is a little room with a treasure chest. The Castellan is sitting on the wooden beams above the treasure chest.
  • Chapter 16: After the Saddler boss fight, during the time escape sequence, you’ll find it on the right side of the rectangular room filled with enemies.
