The roster is frequently updated to stay in line with MLB changes. Make sure to check for roster updates and update your game accordingly. While the roster updates used to occur weekly, they’re less frequent now but still occur.

There are many different options that you might want to adjust depending on your playstyle, such as the type of batting controls or the way the batting camera works. Experiment with different options to see what works best for you.

By default, the mercy rule is turned on. This rule means that the game ends immediately if a team is ahead by ten or more runs. However, you can turn this off from the game options menu before the game begins. You’ll need to turn it off ahead of each game, as it returns to the default once the game ends.

The default settings create a game experience that isn’t necessarily too consistent with how a real game would be played. Since you can customize many different aspects of gameplay, you can adjust the settings for a more realistic experience.
