While there are not traditional cheat codes, there are cheats in the form of special IR Codes that can be scanned to give you special items, allies, weapons, and much more. New IR Codes are regularly made available, so be sure to watch the developer’s Twitter IR Code list to get new ones. Physical copies of the game also came with a pack of physical cards.

To scan an IR Code, you have one of two methods to use. If you have the Nintendo Switch version or the game or the IR Code Android app, you can use your device to physical scan the code. For the Switch, use the right Joy-Con’s IR camera; for the app, make sure it is on the same network as the game and use its camera.

The other method is to manually enter the code by coloring the squares in the 8x8 code grid accordingly to match. Either of these methods is how you scan IR Codes.
