As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock new Force Powers for Cal and new abilities for BD-1.
Unlockable powers for Cal are Wall Run, Force Push, Force Pull, and Jedi Flip (double jump), as well as abilities that are not from the Force but rather tools, the Rebreather (breathe underwater) and Climbing Claws. These come as part of the story and can’t be missed.
However, some of BD-1’s abilities can be missed. Unlockable abilities for BD-1 are Scomp Link, Overcharge (unmissable), Powered Zipline, Probe Droid, and Security Droid.
When the Second Sister appears behind Cal when he returns to Bogano, he says “I had a bad feeling I’d see you here.” This is a reference to the classic phrase “I have a bad feeling about this,” which shows up in every Star Wars movie in one form or another, as well as many other books, games, etc. in the Star Wars franchise.
When BD-1 uses his ability to hack other droids, he will whistle music from the Star Wars films.
There are many customization options for your lightsaber. You can change the color, emitter, switch, sleeve, and material. As you explore, you’ll find many of these options in chests. However, many differenet lightsaber colors will be unlocked after a plot point that occurs at Dathomir. Although it will ask you to pick a specific color, all of the new ones will remain as options when you go to the workbench to customize it.
You will also be able to unlock a double bladed lightsaber option when you go to Dathomir. On Dathomir, keep going until your encounter with the black-robed stranger. After that, jump down to the ledge covered in vines and go down the passage to the right.
Alternately, the double-bladed lightsaber upgrade is also available on Bagona in an area accessible once you have Force Push and BD-1’s Scomp Link ability, and on Kashyyyk as well. However, the spot on Dathomir is the quickest path to getting it.
There are 32 Secrets you can find that will upgrade your Life and Force. These can be found with the help of Force Echoes. If you’re having trouble finding any of the Secrets, use the video guide below to see them all.
If you listen to stormtrooper chatter as you approach, you can hear several interesting exchanges, including one where a stormtroooper on Kashyyyk comments, “At least we have the high ground.” This is a nod to Revenge of the Sith and Obi-Wan’s infamous line about having the high ground that became a meme.
If you return to Ilum later on, you can see that the planet’s surface has changed to show a strange pattern around it that matches that of the planet that becomes Starkiller Base in The Force Awakens. The fan theory that Starkiller Base was Ilum had already existed after The Force Awakens, especially due to its placement on the map compared to the placement of Ilum on the map in the Legends universe, and this addition all but confirms it.
There are 10 Terrarium Seeds (plant seeds) you can find and add to your terrarium. Once you plant them in your terrarium, they will grow in the terrarium. Growing all 10 plants and then interact with the terrarium will give you the Green Thumb trophy/achievement.
If you’re having trouble finding any of the seeds, use the video guide below for help.
Stars Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a fantastic new Star Wars game loved by many. Unfortunately, you can't use cheats directly on its platform. But you can make use of a trainer for cheats. Trainers such as Wemod or Plitch offer some great cheats.
Plitch trainer offers you eight cheats, three of them are free and for the rest, you would need to be a premium user. The free cheats are:
The Premium cheats are:
On Zeffo you can explore a Venator Crash site that you might not recognize. These ships were actually the modal ship that was used by the Senat before they got the Imperial Star Destroyers. These ships used during the clone wars were mostly destroyed. Another example of this ship can be seen in the Victory and Death episode of Clone Wars when Ahsoka and Rex escape the ship before they explode.
To save your game, you will need to use a Meditation Point. Be sure to use these areas to save your progress before moving on, as there is no auto-save.
Keep in mind that using the Rest option will respawn defeated enemies, so think carefully before you decide to use it.
Be sure to use blocking and parrying while fighting enemies. These are important parts of the combat system that will keep you safer than if you simply try to go on the offensive all the time. Pay attention to enemy patterns, as well, and learn how to use proper timing to unleash powerful attacks. Button-mashing won’t serve you well here.
Some areas won’t be accessible right away. The game expects you to backtrack once you have new abilities if you want to unlock everything. If you see an area you don’t know how to reach, just move on until you learn more skills.
At the same time, there are many secrets to be discovered, and the game values exploration. Take your time to check out each area before you move on. If you try to rush through areas, you’re bound to miss things. Check your map to find new paths, as well.
There are many things that can be scanned by BD-1. If you’re near something that can be scanned, BD-1 will leave your shoulder and move toward it.
In addition to things in the environment, you can also scan enemies. Scanning enemies will reveal hints and tips from the menu to help you while fighting that particular type of enemy.
When it comes to the Star Wars franchise we all know who Chewbacca is. Hans Solo's trusty companion throughout the film until he dies later on. Well, Chewy is not the only Wookie to make an appearance in the franchise. Kashyyk Tarfful the chieftain of the Wookies also makes an appearance in Jedi Fallen Order.
Tarfful meets up with Gerrera on Kashyyyk and fights alongside her to free his home planet from the empire. You can also see Tarfful in action in the clone wars where he fights alongside master Yoda.
George Lucas, the initial creator of the Star Wars series has had a massive impact on how the movies and games were created. In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order we are encouraged to be faster and more intense. This is a direct quote from George Lucas himself in how he wanted the movements and actions to happen in the movies.
While there are many things you can scan during the game, 19 of these are encrypted logs that tell the story of Cordova’s Journey. Finding all of these encrypted logs will give you the Data Disk trophy/achievement.
7 of these 19 logs are related to the story and therefore found automatically. The other 12 require you to find and scan them.
Of these 12, 4 are on Bogano, 4 are on Zeffo, 2 are on Kashyyyk, and 2 are on Dathomir.
If you’re unable to scan the Shyyyko Bird log on Kashyyyk, try heading to the meditation point nearby, meditating, and then returning. This has made it prompt the scan for other players who ran into that issue.
If you’re having trouble finding any of the Cordova’s Journey encrypted logs, use the video guide below for help.
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order we get to see a familiar planet. Ilum is the planet that the Jedi often travel to for their Lightsaber Crystals. Unfortunately, as the war continues Ilum becomes a casualty of war and is no longer used as a source of lightsaber crystals but no becomes a formidable Starkiller base.
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order this is a planet you get to explore. From the first time you land on the planet, it looks pretty normal but when you finish the game you get to see the planet in its true light. You see the remains of the old imperial mining operation before the war and the Starkiller Base was created.
Obi-Wan is mostly a fan favorite in the Star Wars series. In the Rebels series, Obi-Wan sends a message to the Rebels where he shares the details of the fall of the Republic and The Jedi Order. We get to see the same message play out in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
I'm sure we all remember the iconic moment when the lightsaber duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan comes to an end how Obi-Wan does a backflip onto the high ground and then says to Anakin, “ Don’t try it Anakin, its over, I have the High Ground.”
Well, Anakin tried it and lost. In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order we see the same saying being said by your character as you climb up the side of an imperial facility with Cal. When you get just below the winder at the top of the tower you can hear two stormtroopers chatting and they make reference to the same line by saying, “ Well at least we have the high ground.”
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order there are 8 planets that you can explore. Most of them are significantly big but others differ in size. You can explore each planet and find lots of great loot and unlock new skills.
To unlock a new planet you need to finish the missions on the current planet you are on. The missions and storyline work together and lead you to the next planet you need to go to continue the mission. Once you have finished the game you can revisit most of the planets except for three of them.
When you are taking down enemies it can be easy to get carried away by attacking your enemy. But you need to be strategic in how you fight. If you leave yourself open too often you will be an easy target for stormtroopers with blasters and other with their melee attacks.
A hint to know when you need to put your guard up and block is when you see your enemy go red. This is an indicator to you that you either need to attack them or dodge the attack coming.
Try to use the force as much as you can in fights. Obviously, you don't want to be left with an empty meter when you have tons of enemies to deal with, but when you can use the force. Your meter will refill pretty fast and using the force can make a big difference in a fight.
To unlock new skills in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order you will need to earn skill points and use them to unlock the skills one by one. New skills generally cost one skill point but can cost more as you get further in the game. Your skills are displayed on a skill tree and you have to unlock them in the order on each branch.
You can get skill points by defeating enemies and locating loot. Unfortunately, when you die your skill bar will reset and you will need to regain your progress on the development of that skill. But it is pretty easy to catch up again after you defeat a few enemies.
