Within the Lego Star Wars universe, they offer cheat codes to unlock certain things. These cheat codes are found with a simple internet search, but here they are:

These codes can be entered in the main menu, so if you are looking for an easier way around, use these to your advantage. There are also cheats that you can unlock throughout the game that will make your life a lot easier, here are ones that you can unlock in the game:

Studs x 2: times all the studs you earn by 2.
Studs x 4: times all the studs you earn by 4.
Studs x 6: times all the studs you earn by 6.
Studs x 8: times all the studs you earn by 8.
Studs x 10: times all the studs you earn by 10.
Super GNK Droid: Adds a golden GNK droid to the party. Super GNK is invincible, and moves very quickly.
Porg Companion: A porg companion will aid you in battle, occasionally sending enemies into a frenzy with a piercing scream
Baguette Lightsabers: Turns all Lightsabers into freshly baked baguettes.
Galaxy Rave: Turns Galaxy Free Play into a fun disco for all to enjoy.
Hologram Mode: Gives playable characters and ships a hologram look.
GNK Civilians: Replaces all civilians with GNK droids.
Mumble Mode: Replaces all voices with mumbles.
Comedy Weapons: Blaster and other ranged weapons are replaced with silly items.
Big Head Mode: Gives playable characters giant heads
Universal Translator: Allows any playable character to understand any language.
