This will help you in the long run when you need to get across the map fast. Try to set your routes to go past important locations. If you are starting at the political base and you want to get to Dunken Bear Inn then the best route would be going past the SawMill and Vlads Shop. 

Process your Prisoners Instantly

If you build up the amount of prisoners you have and store all the contraband you find you will end up always upgrading your facility. Instead, focus on processing and inspecting your prisoners as soon as you get them in. This will minimize your costs and help you avoid having any prisoners escape. 

Upgrade what is Necessary

When it comes to upgrading items in the game then you need to focus on upgrading the items that will directly improve your character first. Items such as your car, house and your character stats will improve your gameplay directly. Once you have upgraded these items then you can move onto other items such as your rifle.

Car Checking

When it comes to checking cars you need to make sure you do a thorough job. Once you have approved the ticket, hit the lever for the next car. Be careful, if the car happens to be a runaway they will drive directly through and drive the car in front of them. If need be, you can shoot the driver. When checking a car, use a UV flashlight and walk around shining the light on the tires and look for the letter S. If you find an S, ask the person to leave the car and make an arrest. You will then be able to check the car freely.

Focus on the Makarov

If you upgrade this weapon fully you will be able to kill people with a one shot headshot. Alternatively, you could also use the AK which deals sufficient damage as well. Managing your finances in Contraband Police is vital. You want to make sure you have enough money to upgrade items like your gun and car. A great opportunity is to go for a search for the hidden treasure spread throughout the map. In each treasure chest you will be able to find money and items that you can later sell. The first treasure chest is hidden near the Police base. 

As you leave the police base, turn right and drive until you come to the next main road that turns to the left. The chest will be in that piece of land where the two roads connect to the left. Another chest is directly in line with the Drunken Bear Inn across the road. If you take the road to the sawmill you will find another chest to the left near the lake. While you are looking for chests, make sure to keep your eye out for a possible ambush and always be ready.
