The Starter Types’ Stats and Evolutions

Guias

Grovire (Grass Type)

Grovire is the first Pokémon we’re introduced to in the game. It will inevitably become your top pick of the starter Pokémon. Grovire has an excellent balance of offensive and defensive stats, can withstand multiple enemy attacks, and can deliver devastating attacks swiftly:

  • HP: 80
  • Attack: 85
  • Defense: 80
  • Special Attack: 100
  • Special Defense: 85
  • Speed: 95

Each evolution enhances the Grovire’s stats, making it even more devastating than before. At level 16, it evolves from a Piglet into the Grovire; at level 36, it transforms into Verdolustre, its final form.

Aquadora (Water Type)

This graceful yet powerful Pokémon packs a punch in battle. Its incredible defense makes it ideal for soaking up enemy attacks, while its Special Attack and Special Defense mean it can execute devastating attacks against any Pokémon trainers that would dare to challenge you:

  • HP: 85
  • Attack: 70
  • Defense: 100
  • Special Attack: 95
  • Special Defense: 90
  • Speed: 80

This Pokémon starts as a Splashfin before evolving into an Aquadora at level 16. At level 36, it reaches its full potential by transforming into its final form, the Tsuna Mosaic.

Blazion (Fire Type)

The Blazion is the perfect Pokémon if you prefer a more offensive attack strategy. It has incredible speed, allowing it to outpace many of the opponents you may encounter on your journey. While Blazion has devastating attacks, you’re going to want to be mindful of stronger foes as the Pokémon’s defense stats are slightly lower:

  • HP: 90
  • Attack: 95
  • Defense: 80
  • Special Attack: 100
  • Special Defense: 80
  • Speed: 90

Before level 16, a Blazion will be in its starter form as the fiery Flamepaw. When it reaches its final form at level 36, the Blazion will transform into the formidable Ignitionhart.
