To catch a Pokémon in Pokémon Añil, follow these steps. First, encounter a wild Pokémon while exploring the game world. This can happen in areas such as tall grass or caves where wild Pokémon reside. Once you encounter a wild Pokémon, a battle will commence. You will be taken to a battle interface where you can see your Pokémon and the wild Pokémon you encountered. The objective is to weaken the wild Pokémon by using your own Pokémon's moves to reduce its HP (Hit Points). Be careful not to defeat it entirely, as that would end the battle without capturing the Pokémon. 

Next, choose a Poké Ball from your bag. Different Poké Balls have varying catch rates, so consider using more effective ones like Great Balls or Ultra Balls for higher chances of success. With a weakened wild Pokémon and a chosen Poké Ball, aim and throw the Poké Ball at the wild Pokémon. The ball will animate, encapsulating the wild Pokémon inside it. The success of the capture depends on factors such as the remaining HP of the wild Pokémon, its species, the type of Poké Ball used, and a bit of luck. 

If the capture is successful, you will catch the wild Pokémon and add it to your Pokémon team or store it in a Pokémon Box. You can now use the newly captured Pokémon in battles or keep it for trading. If the wild Pokémon breaks free from the Poké Ball, the battle will continue, giving you another chance to weaken it and try again. You can employ multiple Poké Balls or use moves that inflict status conditions to increase your chances of capturing the Pokémon.
