Trading in Pharaoh: A New Era a method used to balance your economy and trade-off surplus goods for revenue. In order to set trades, you'll need to open a trade route to another town on the World Map.

In order to open trade routes with other towns, you will have to access the Overseer panel and select the Overseer of Commerce icon. Under the icon, you can set your goods on either export or import. You unfortunately will not be able to export and import the same type of goods.

Opening a trade route is not for free and will cost some Debens, the currency used in Pharaoh. Select the World Map icon that is found on the left-hand side of your screen. You must then left-click on the town that you would like to open a trade route with.

You must then select "Open Land Route" and it will allow you to trade your goods with that particular city. You will now be able to see what goods the town is willing to trade or purchase.
