Buy a Horse

Buying a horse is a necessity. Apart from trains, horses were the fastest way to travel back then. To get around faster we suggest you by a horse. Horses might be expensive, but they are a good investment in the game.

To buy a horse will cost you roughly $280. This price also depends on your reputation. If you have a good reputation, you might get a discount. If you have a bad rep, then this might hike the price up a bit.

The quickest way to build up the cash to buy a horse is t take on bounties. The more bounties you collect, the faster you can buy a horse. Horses also add more slots to your inventory, giving you the opportunity to carry more.

Must have Items

There are a few items that you should always carry. You should always have a shovel, pickaxe, and some rope with you. The shovel is a handy tool to keep on you as it helps you reveal hidden treasures or hide bodies if you need to.

To mine, sell, and make weapons, you need to have metals in your inventory. This is where having a pic axe on hand is great, as you never know when you are going to come across a metal deposit.

The rope is also super useful to have with you. A rope can help you open up new paths or ways or bind items together, even if you need to tie up your horse. The rope comes in handy.

Always have a hired hand

When taking on difficult quests, it’s helpful to have a backup. That’s why having a hired hand is essential. Hiring an extra character can benefit you in a few ways. Firstly, they add extra guns to your party if you run it trouble.

You can also give them better gear making them more unstoppable. Be wary when choosing. Your reputation can rise or decrease depending on what you do and who you associate with.

Help a Guy Out

As you explore the map, you will often find people in need of help. They might be stuck somewhere, need help with a quest, or be locked in a room. Often when you help here people, they reward you by giving you money, supplies, or a favor.

If you can, always stop to help someone in need.

Mind you Inventory

As you play and collect loot, you need to keep in mind that your inventory is limited. You need to collect items wisely. You will learn this quickly, especially at the beginning of the game, before you gain access to a bank.

Try to keep items with you that you will most likely need. Items which you can trade with or earn cash from are great, as well as the basic items you need to survive.

If you find a large number of items, such as guns, it would be best to break them up so they take up less space. Having a horse will also help you with space.

Weapon Upgrades

Upgrading your weapon is an important part of the game. The stronger and more effective your weapon is, the easier the game will be as you reach more difficult tasks.

To upgrade your weapon, you will need to visit a blacksmith in one of the towns. You will obviously have to pay for the upgrade. You can also customize your upgrades specifically for your character.

Try to match weapons and upgrade them with your character's skills and perks in mind.

Know Your Surroundings

The map in Weird West is very different. When you get into a conflict, make it helps to know what’s around you. Use hills, buildings, and trees as ways to avoid enemy gunshots.
