Uncharted References

Easter Eggs

There are many references to Naughty Dog’s previous games, including several to the Uncharted series.

In Bill’s cellar, you can see a pamphlet for a band called “The Shambalas.” This is a reference to Shambhala, a mythical kingdom that is also featured as a core part of the plot in Uncharted 2. This musical group is referenced again in the music store in the Left Behind DLC.

At the Hotel Grand in Pittsburgh, one of the newspapers announces an upcoming Uncharted 13 movie starring Justin Bieber as Drake.

In the child’s room before you meet Henry and Sam, there is a Nathan Drake plushie on the bed.

The toy store in Pittsburgh also has the Uncharted board game on one of its shelves.

O’Sullivan’s Pub strongly resembles the pub from the beginning of Uncharted 3. The name might also be a reference to Victor Sullivan (Sully) from the Uncharted series.

From the restaurant in the Lakeside Resort, you can find a noticeboard in a back office that has a poster about the Phurba Dagger from Uncharted 2.

In the Left Behind DLC, the mall’s costume store includes a Nathan Drake costume.

There is also an arcade called Raja’s Arcade, which may be a reference to Eddy Raja and Rika Raja.

I want to ride my bicycle

Easter Eggs

The poster for the bike store near the toy store reads “I WANT TO RIDE MY BICYCLE.” This is likely a reference to the lyrics from Queen’s song “Bicycle Race.”
