South Park show references
Easter EggsThere are several nods to the South Park series throughout the game. Here are a few.
- Although Damien does not appear in this game, you can find “Missing” posters for him on bulletin boards.
- Spookyfish can be found in some rooms.
- In the Camera shop, the photographs along the right wall show various scenes from the show.
- In the woods near the left side of town, you can spot the Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka.
Skip Intro
Easter EggsIf you attempt to skip the opening cutscene when you start a new game, Cartman will stop you from doing so. He will stop you several times. However, if you continue to hold down the button to skip the cutscene, he’ll let you skip the scene—and the entire game, putting you straight at the end credits.
Bill Belichick and Tom Brady
Easter EggsIf you try to enter the password to the Coon’s lair, 307, without reading the journal, Bill Belichick calls you Tom Brady and accuses you of trying to cheat, a reference to the football cheating accusations made against Tom Brady.
Canada's Wall
Easter EggsAlthough Canada is not an explorable area in The Fractured But Whole, you can use a Timefart Pause and a basket to get past the man blocking your path at Hillvale Farm. This will let you reach the border of Canada. However, the Canadian president has built a wall on the border, so you can’t go any further.
Bonus Boss (Morgan Freeman)
Easter EggsMorgan Freeman is a secret bonus boss. If you go to Freeman’s Tacos, walk behind the counter, and punch him three times, you’ll start the boss fight. He is an incredibly powerful boss, and you’ll earn the Golden Taco artifact if you manage to defeat him.
Popular Culture clothes
Easter EggsThe thrift shop includes outfits from many characters from popular culture, including Charlie Brown’s shirt and Ash Ketchum’s jacket.
Stick of Truth items
Easter EggsIn the New Kid’s garage, you can see many things from the previous game, The Stick of Truth, including the Chinpokomon in a box.
All Yaoi Art Piece Locations
HintsThere are 40 Yaoi Art Pieces that serve as collectibles hidden throughout the game. There is a map to find them in Bebe’s basement, which shows you how many there are per building. None of them are missable, and some require certain skills to get them. Once you get all 40, take them to Craig’s Dad to complete the side quest. Use the video guide below if you’re having trouble finding them all.
All Cat Locations
HintsYou need to find six cats for Big Gay Al. To catch them, you’ll need to use the TimeFart Pause skill to stop time so you can grab each cat. You’ll also need firecrackers to knock down some of them that are up in trees. Use the video guide below if you’re having trouble finding all six.
All Headshot Locations
HintsOnce you get the Headshot Job side quest from Mr. Adams, you’ll need to find eight headshots to put on the bulletin boards. Some are not accessible until you have certain skills, so you should do them later in the story or in the post-game. Use the video guide below if you’re having trouble finding all eight headshot locations.
All Toilet Locations
HintsThere are 21 toilets with simple button-pressing mini-games. Most houses and restaurants, along with some other buildings, have a toilet, although you’ll need certain skills to access some, so you might want to wait until the post-game. A toilet will be marked with a green checkmark once you master its mini-game. Use the video guide below if you’re having trouble finding all 21.
