You can unlock playable characters for Raid Mode by meeting the following criteria:

• Gina Foley - This character is unlocked after Episode 1.
• Moira Burton - This character is unlocked after Episode 1.
• Gabe - This character is unlocked after Episode 2.
• Pedro - This character is unlocked after Episode 2.
• Neil - This character is unlocked after Episode 3.
• Alex Wesker - This character is unlocked after you play through the story, as well as the Omega Raid.
• Jill Valentine - This character is unlocked once you've received 10 Completion Medallions in Raid Mode.
• Leon Kennedy - This character is unlocked once you've received 20 Completion Medallions in Raid Mode.
• Chris Redfield - This character is unlocked once you've received 30 Completion Medallions in Raid Mode.
• Cipher (hologram) - This character is unlocked once you've received 90 Completion Medallions in Raid Mode.

It is easy to get the "Brick Layer" achievement/trophy while playing on the Casual difficulty setting. Just use Natalia to throw bricks at the Glasps.

While attempting a knife-only run of the episode for the "Cutting Edge" achievement/trophy, you CAN perform the following actions:

• Fighting enemies with knives
• Use one of the flamethrower statues
• Break a lock with a melee attack using a brick
• Control Moira or Natalia while Claire or Barry shoots
• However, you CAN'T perform these actions:
• Fighting enemies with any other weapons
• Using a finishing move
• Using a melee attack
• Using a stealth attack
• Using explosives
• Using smoke bombs
• Using Molotov cocktails
• Throwing bricks
• Interacting with enemies as Moira or Natalia
