There are a few different modes you can play.

Franchise – Choose a team and then manage that team as you play through ten baseball seasons.

Exhibition – Choose two teams and have them play a game against each other.

Home Run Derby – Choose a player and try to hit as many home runs as you can.

Online – Play against other players online.

You can change the settings for how injuries and trades work if you want to adjust the difficulty of your game in franchise mode.

Injuries have three settings: minor, moderate, and realistic.

• Minor – Injured players will only be hurt for a few days, up to ten at the most.
• Moderate – Injured players can be hurt for up to a month at the most.
• Realistic – Injured players could potentially be hurt for the entire season.

Trades also have three settings: unrestricted, loose, and strict.

• Unrestricted – All trades will be accepted.
• Loose – Most trades will be accepted.
• Strict – Trades will only be accepted if the other team likes the deal.
