Dr Who Easter Egg

Easter Eggs

In Spider-Man Miles Morales you will be able to collect cash and stashes in the underground factions. You will come across a hide out that formerly belonged to "Tombstone" and his gang.

Inside the underground lair there is a group of grey mannequins that are positioned at the entrance. While you are exploring this hidden lair, Miles will make a discovery that the mannequins have moved.

The mannequins move every time you are not looking at them. This is a reference to Dr Who's "Weeping Angels" that quotes "These stone figures will hunt you down and only eye contact stops them approaching."

Insomniac

Easter Eggs

Insomniac are the creators of Spider-Man Miles Morales. In the 2018 versions of Spiderman, Insomniac's store can be found in Midtown. Insomniac’s store building can be located in the exact same location in Spiderman Miles Morales.

There is another hidden Insomniac easter egg on one of the first missions in the game when you have to defeat “Rhino”. The villain carries “Peter and Miles” through a series of buildings along the way, one of them being a shopping mall.

While “Rhino” is charging through the mall, keep an eye out for a chandelier that is used as a halo over a christmas tree. This “halo” is in fact a hidden easter egg, as it resembles Insomniac's logo.

Apartment Numbers

Easter Eggs

There is a scene in Spider-Man Miles Morales where Miles leaves his apartment. Go back to the same apartment as spiderman and select “photo mode”. Slowly zoom into the apartment numbers on the wall and you will see that there is a list of names.

The list of one of the names has four hidden easter eggs. The first name on the list is “Waldo”, this is a reference to the book “ Where’s Waldo?”.

The names “Andy & Buzz” appear later on the apartment number list. These two names are a reference to Walt Disney's “Toy Story”. Andy and Buzz are the main characters in “Toy Story”.

Further down on the apartment list you will find the name “Cthulhu” and a sketch. This name is a reference to an RPG game called “Call of Cthulhu”.

At the bottom of the list there is a blood stained nameplate with the names “Fred & Jason”. The nameplate also has the number “13” and the letter “F” engraved on it. This is a reference to the famous friday the 13th horror movie “Freddy vs Jason”.

Spider-Man Comic

Easter Eggs

At the beginning of the “ La Nochebuena” mission you will be able to explore around an apartment. If you look on the shelf next to Miles' bed there will be a stack of comic books piled up.

The comic book on top of the pile is the first issue of the “Amazing Fantasy”. This is the original Spider-man comic book made by Marvel.

Infinite Invisibility Glitch

Glitches

This glitch works on most versions of Spider-man Miles Morales. Try using this glitch multiple versions of the game until you succeed. The first thing you must do is "load" a game where you have completed the game. Don't load the mission "Memory Lane" otherwise this glitch will not work.

After you have loaded the game, you must head on over to where the mission starts. Then when you land where the mission starts, you must push "up" on the D-PAD, the "Triangle" button, and "Touch pad" in quick succession.

You must then go to the "Missions tab" and select the mission called "Reconnecting". If you aren't able to start any missions then you must try again. When the mission is loaded and the game looks normal, you must "quit" the game and reload the saved game you have just left.

The game should be pixelated and blurry. If the game isn't pixelated, you must try doing it over again. When the game is pixelated and the door opens, you will need to spam "up" on the D-PAD as much as you can. "Miles" will not show up until he has finished climbing the ladder.

If the glitch works correctly, "Miles" will show up with the invisible effect. Don't skip any cut scenes, and you will then have infinite invisibility.

Cat Glitch

Glitches

There is a cat glitch that appears after you have completed a side mission that involves saving a cat. Once you have completed this mission you will receive a cat outfit. Equip your player with the cat outfit and enter photo mode.

Take multiple selfies with the suit on and you will notice that there will be a cat in the photo with a different pose every time.

How To Change Time Of The Day

Guides

Changing the time of day in Spider-Man Miles Morales can only be achieved once you have completed the game. You will need to go into the "Game Settings" menu. Scroll down to "TIME OF DAY" option and select between the following options: "DAY/NIGHT/SUNSET/OVERCAST."

ErosLikesGames shares a guide on how to change the time of day.

Suspended Enemies Can Be Turned Into Web Bombs

Hints

Enemies that are taken down with a "Perched Takedown" can be turned into web bombs. You can use this trick when an enemy is hanging on a web below you.

You can move away and see that there is an "L1" and "R1" prompt above your enemy. All you must do is wait for an enemy to pass underneath or near them and press the "L1" or "R1" prompt and the hanging enemy above will drop and explode.

Car glitch

Glitches

Every car in Spider-Man Morales will automatically stop before it hits a player. There is a glitch that occurs on a side mission called “Emergency Comms Down”. On this mission, you meet the "EMT" whose car has been stolen.

You will then have to search for his car and take it back to him. Once the "EMT" has his car back, he will begin to drive away from the location. If you stand in front of the car that he is driving, you will be knocked over repeatedly until his car slows down and comes to a halt.

Infinite Venom Glitch

Glitches

To do this glitch you will need to do a mission called "Emergency Comms Down". You are given three venom bars to charge up a breaker. You must swing around buildings in the surrounding area and fill up all the bars.

You must then start boosting yourself in the air and the venom bars will automatically start to refill themselves. After you boost yourself high enough, you will be able to roam the city with unlimited venom powers.

There are no crimes and you can't do any activities with this glitch. All it allows you to do is boost around the city at fast speeds and wander into the unfinished parts of New York city.

Nobles shares the infinite Venom glitch he found in Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Floating Glitch

Glitches

The floating glitch allows your character to float around in the air. In order to pull off this glitch you will first need to enter the "Emergency Comms Down" mission and perform the "infinite venom glitch". Once you have gained access to infinite venom boosters, you will need to head over to the bridge next to “Wrecker Island”.

In order for this glitch to work it requires you to stay within the top and bottom length of the island and the confines of the bridge. Boost your character up into the air between the bridge, as you come down you will begin to float in the centre of the bridge.

While you are floating in the air, you can do tricks with your character or simply make him glitch out.

Nobes shares a "floating glitch" that occurs in Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Hidden City and Shopping Mall Glitch

Glitches

There is a hidden city and Shopping Mall glitch that occurs in Spider-Man Miles Morales. To access this glitch you will first need to select a mission that includes an auto movement for the camera.

Entering photo mode will enable you to go inside almost every building in the game, although the majority of them are empty inside so don’t expect much. This does however allow you to enter the shopping mall before it is destroyed.

To do this, you need to restart the “Harlem” mission. When “Rhino” takes you to the shopping mall, you will have to abandon the mission and wait approximately 10 seconds. You must then exit the game.

When you relaunch the game and press “continue”, you will be inside the empty mall and can explore without the stress of completing a mission.

The next part of this glitch is what is known as “Hidden City”. Once You have made it into the  shopping mall, from the first part of the glitch. You must exit the shopping mall by swinging through the roof.

Once your player has exited the building through the roof, you will see a completely different version of the city then what is normally shown. The textures in the city are not rendered properly, and with no VFX you will get the feeling as though you are in an entirely new game.

The map of the city is not available during this glitch. However, you are still able to have fun swinging around the city.

How To Do Into Spider Verse Dive

Guides

You can do the spider verse dive by either swinging through the air or jumping off a building. In order for you to dive into the spider verse, "Miles" must be falling backwards and looking into the camera.

The easiest way to do this is to go to a high building that doesn't have any ledges. You must run off the building holding "L3" and the sprint button which is "R2". As you are about to jump off the building you must push "X". Never let go of "L3", keep holding it and pointing forward even when "Miles" is in the air.

While "Miles" is in the air, you must hold "Square" while "L3" is still being held and pointed upwards. "Miles" will do a movement where he checks his phone, and he will then do the "Spider Verse dive".

JB11 Games shows us how to do the Spider Verse dive.

Target Time Capsules

Hints

Target time capsules for easy ability tokens. The easiest way to farm up ability tokens in the game and get 100% completion is by hovering up all the time capsules. You will get 3 ability tokens per time capsule, it's one of the fastest ways to unlock items in the game.

Use Venom Attacks

Hints

Miles' venom abilities add a new dimension to combat allowing you to unleash a new arsenal of moves and effectively deal deadly attacks. Keep using venom attacks anytime that you have them. As soon as your venom metre is recharged, you must use your electrically charged attacks.

Gamingbolt shares some tips with Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Perform Tricks

Hints

Miles can perform over 20 different tricks in the air while he is free falling. Performing tricks on the go will slowly fill up your venom gauge and increase your experience. The harder tricks to perform will give you more experience.

Speed Swing

Hints

Speed swinging through the city is the fastest way to travel to your objectives. You can speed swing by pressing "O" and dodging left by pressing "L3" or dodging right by pressing "R3."
