All Shrines, Protocols, and Decrees

Hints

There are several key collectibles you’ll want to watch out for as you explore the nine worlds.

Armor Shrines - There are 25 total armor shrines. Armor shrines give you a bonus, such as unlocking new weapon slots or lowering the amount of damage you take. Some shrines have fixed bonuses, while others vary based on your class.

Protocols – Protocols are essentially keys. They unlock doors to let you progress to new areas, while others also unlock strongboxes.

Cerium Decrees – Certain strongboxes, doors, etc. can only be unlocked if you have enough Cerium Decrees. The maximum requirement is 30 Cerium Decrees, although there are more than 30 in the game.

Use the video guide below to help you find all of the armor shrines, protocols, and Cerium Decrees.

Bits (Currency)

Hints

Bits are the game’s currency and experience system. You’ll use bits to level up, as well as to upgrade your weapons and unlock fast travel points. If you die, you will drop your bits and must return to that spot to claim them again before you die. If you die a second time before reclaiming your lost bits, they’ll be gone. There is an armor shrine boost that lets you keep some of your bits when you die.
