Every player has their own play style, and thus you need to find a character that will suit your play style. There are 11 different characters to choose from in Granblue Fantasy versus, which each have their own unique skill set and will depend on your play style and which one you chooses to play with.

The base game characters are:

  • Gran
  • Katalina
  • Charlotta

  • Lowain
  • Ladiva

  • Vaseraga

Gran and Kataline are recommended for new players to start playing until they are comfortable with; the game, mechanics, and style.

Complete the skill practice and Combo practice

Once you have decided on a character to play as it is then recommended that you go play through the characters skill practice and Combo practice modes. This will future help you with your play style and learn the best combos for your style.

Skill practice and Combo practice can be done through free training; however, it is easier to learn the Skill and Combo sets through the dedicated practice sections, and as a bonus, you will be graded on skill and combos for the character to see how well you can do the skills and combos.

Arcade mode and Match-Up’s

Once you have decided on the character and have nailed the Skills and Combos perfectly it is time to test the skills in the Arcade mode of the game and by playing Match-ups.

Arcade mode will allow you to choose the difficulty at the end of each match. This is helpful in progressing your skill level in the game and leveling up.  Similarly, playing match-ups and achieving the goals will allow you to gain the best way to play the game.
