To unlock new characters, you need to level up. Every time you level up, you get either a character scrap or an illustration scrap. Once you get 8 character scraps, you will unlock a new character.

The terminal is one of the game’s biggest mysteries. The terminal is a special option that prompts you to “Please enter your mysterious code.” There was no explanation for the use of the terminal or what the mysterious code is. For Freedom Dive, however, you should instead draw a circle on the screen until it unlocks.

A handful of secret versions can also be unlocked by playing on a specific day (or changing the system date):

• Tutorial – change the date to April 1
• GOODTEK (Hyper Edit) – change the date to April 1
• Sweet*Witch*Girl* – change the date to November 1

To unlock Master difficulty for a song, you must first clear that song on Hard difficulty.

Each character has a special ability. This means different characters are more suitable for different situations and playstyles. Check out their abilities and experiment to decide which characters you want to use the most.

In addition to the main characters, elfins also provide you with special boosts. Check out the ability of each elfin to decide which is the best fit.

If you play as Buro, you will earn 50% more exp. This makes Buro the best choice if you’re trying to level up quickly.

However, other characters can improve your accuracy, high score, etc., so it’s important to choose based on what you’re specifically trying to accomplish.

Start out on lower difficulties to get used to the song and then increase the difficulty once you’re familiar with it.

Since it is a rhythm game, you want to hit the beat when it occurs rather than after it. This means you should be trying to familiarize yourself with the song to feel when the next beat will come, rather than reacting to it.
