All Illusory Walls

Wskazówki

Certain areas include secret passages through Illusory Walls, walls that you can attack or roll into to open them. These secret passages might lead to items, new areas, and more. While most Illusory Doors can be opened normally, the ones found in the Artorias of the Abyss content require you to use Cast Light to see them. If you’re having trouble with Illusory Walls, use the video guide below to find all of them.

Vagrants

Wskazówki

The strange crab-like creatures you might have noticed are called Vagrants. A Vagrant will appear in your game if you leave a bloodstain with a high amount of humanity and don’t collect it or leave certain items behind and then reload the area. If you don’t kill the Vagrant, it will eventually go to another player’s game. A Vagrant that is continually sent from game to game will transform into an Evil Vagrant that has a claw and a powerful ranged attack.

Beginning Tips

Wskazówki

It doesn’t particularly matter which class you pick when you’re first starting out, as long as you don’t pick the Deprived class, which is intentionally much harder.

Pick the starting gift that sounds right to you, but be aware that the Pendant has no use.

The Master Key is a useful starting gift, but it can allow you to skip areas (which might be a good or bad thing, depending on your perspective).

At a bonfire, you can use Humanity to restore your humanity, and a second one will let you pick Kindle Bonfire to make that bonfire give you 10 Estus Flasks instead of 5.

Spend your souls. While you can reclaim them after you die, dying a second time makes those souls disappear. It might be tempting to hoard them, but consider spending them to improve yourself a little bit at a time rather than risk losing everything.

Your stamina replenishes faster when your shield is down. Try to only raise your shield when you need to defend.

Learning to dodge reliably will be much more beneficial in the long run than relying on your shield.

If you sneak up behind humanoid enemies, you can backstab them for a great amount of damage.

You can also lock onto enemies to focus your attacks on them and circle them as you move.

Always look around to make sure you aren’t about to stumble into a trap or hidden enemies.
