You’ll need to mark areas for your beavers to get resources, such as marking trees you want cut down for logs and marking out gathering areas.
You’ll also need storehouses to keep resources in, as well as log piles for wood cut down from trees. Log piles will also need to be placed close enough to areas where you want to build new things for the beavers to get the logs to build with.
Structures will be built in the order you start them. If you want a different structure to be built first, you can pause building the earlier ones.
Beavers must live close enough to a place to work there. To get workers at a particular place, make sure there is a lodge close enough to it.
Since lodges are living areas for beavers, the number of lodges also determines how much your population can grow. Use this to either expand your population or keep it in check depending on your current needs and resources.
You should start gathering water early. Your beavers need water in order to survive, so you don’t want to run out of water.
Water is also important to have because of the dry season. If plants and crops do not have enough water, they will begin to die.
Beavers will eventually die. It is related to their wellbeing stat, but there is also a degree of randomness to it. Your beaver’s lifespan can’t be predicted entirely.
