To begin building siege weapons, you must first upgrade your siege workshop in the barracks and have an army in the city from which to recruit. To purchase a Trebuchet, you must have a Marshall with Siegecraft skill level 3. A catapult is a great alternative to Trebuchets because it is less expensive and has fewer Marshall requirements. When adding siege weapons to your arsenal, make sure you have enough supply wagons.
