Easter Eggs

Valentina Tereshkova, born in 1937, was the youngest and first Russian woman in space, she flew a solo mission on the Vostok 6 in 1963 and still remains as the only woman to have been on a solo orbit of the earth.

The Tereshkova robots are named in honor of her achievements. The robots share no resemblance to her portrait.

There is a scene at the beginning of Atomic Hearts, during a boat ride Major is floating down the canal, that gives reference to Ray Bradbury’s dystopian novel “Fahrenheit 451”. As Major approaches the shore, you can hear a woman and a man conversing.

Invincibility Glitch

Glitches

In Atomic Heart there is an invincibility glitch that allows you to play the game without dying. The glitch doesn’t make you 100% invincible but you are pretty much invincible. The first step to activating this glitch is to go to your upgrades.

You’ll need to get three items from your upgrades in order for this glitch to work. The first item you will need is “Juggler”. Click on the “ Character” submenu under the upgrades option and select the “Juggler”. This allows you to heal your player with one hand.

The second item that you will need is "Cell Division". You can also find this item under the "Character" submenu. Cell Division puts a heal over time on you whenever you use a medical capsule. Combining "Cell Division" and the "Juggler" allows you to exploit the game.

You will still need to purchase "Shok". Purchase the "Neuro-Polymer Accelerator" that reduces Shok cooldown.  Once you have all the items. It's time to use the glitch, pick a fight with some and lose some health power "HP".

Press the "heal" button and catch “Shok” immediately. This doesn't use your medical capsule but instead gives you a "heal over time" and refills your "HP". The glitch wears off over a period of time but can be reactivated when you throw a medical capsule before casting Shok.

How to beat HOG-7 Hedgie

Guides

Atomic Heart revolves around exterminating a deadly robotic revolt and exploring Faculty 3826. Throughout the game there are several boss robot fights that you will need to defeat, this first boss that poses a challenge is HOG-7 Hedgie robot.

The boss fight with HOG-7 Hedgie will only start once you have reached the open world and gained access to the Exhibition Park. Once you reach the center of the area, you will need to push the prompted button and a pillar will arise from the ground, starting the fight.

Hedgie is a round robotic boss that will spend most of the fight rolling around the arena, whilst firing ammunition at you. Hedgies’ outer shell absorbs any damage while rolling on the ground, so there’s no point in trying to shoot him and wasting ammo.

Hedgies’ movements are quite hard to follow and you will need to dodge the rolling robot. After he has rolled around for a while, he will eventually stop rolling and sink into the floor. Hedgie is now exposed and this is the opportunity to start firing your ammo at him.

Aim your shots towards the glowing parts of the robot, this will inflict the most damage. The boss robot will not be easily defeated and will soon start rolling around again after taking on some damage.

One of the ways to instantly stop Hedgie from rolling around is to make him roll into the pillar. You can force him to crash into the pillar by baiting him towards them. Stand to the right or left of the pillar and move out of the way when he crashes into them.

You can activate several pillars in the boss arena using the “Shok” ability. Activate as many pillars as you can to force Hedgie into overheat mode, so you can quickly bring down his health bar.

During the fight you will need to be wary of the attacks that Hedgie will use against you and how to avoid them. When Hedgie rolls towards you, double tap “B” or “O” to evade him. Hedgie will also jump from time to time, when he lands it will create a shock wave that you must jump over to avoid any damage.

As the fight draws to an ending, Hedgies’ attacks become quicker and he will send out a glowing gravity field that pulls you towards him. Hedgie will then send out shockwaves that you will need to dodge.

You’ll need to defeat Hedgie the boss without being killed or the checkpoint will reset to a different saving point.

How to Kill the Plyusch Boss

Guides

One of the trickiest bosses in Atomic Heart is the Plyusch boss. This boss is vulnerable to fire and Melee attacks. The preferred weapons to use against this boss are the Fox, Zvezdochka, Snowball, Ax, and Swede. Weapons that are fast to swing will be the most effective.

The Plyusch has three forms of attack, two of the attacks are power attacks. The Plyusch will often lunge towards you with its tendrils. The Plyusch has a special attack where a circle will appear on the screen. You will need to avoid this circle, else the Plyusch will pick you up and try to devour you.

You'll need to press a series of buttons in order to avoid being eaten by the Plyusch. This attack is deadly and will end your battle with the boss if you can't avoid being eaten. One of the best ways to prepare yourself for the Plyusch boss fight is to purchase "Second Wind" under the "Character" upgrade menu.

The "Second Wind" upgrade will give you additional speed in dodging." Morning Exercise" is an alternative upgrade that will increase your speed. The trick to defeating this boss is to be fast on your feet and run around him in a circle, while slashing him with a Melee attack. Shock and gunfire are ineffective against this boss.

You can also use the Polymeric shield as an effective method to block any of his attacks. Use speed to your best advantage and defeat the Plyusch boss.
