Cheat Trainer

Cheats

Nioh 2 is a super fun game. You, unfortunately, cannot use cheat directly through the game, but you can make use of a trainer to access cheats. Trainers such as Plitch and Wemod work very well.

For Nioh, we suggest you try using Wemod. Wemod offers you 35 cheats that can be used simply by activating them. The cheats Wemod off are:

Player Cheats

  • God Mode
  • Unlimited Health
  • Unlimited Ki
  • Unlimited Anima
  • Max Yokai Shaft Gauge
  • Unlimited Yokai Shaft Gauge
  • Yokai Shift instant cool down
  • Unlimited Sentience
  • Unlimited Buff
  • Defense Multiplier

Game Cheats

  • Show enemies on the minimap
  • Show Kodama on minimap
  • Shaw Amrita on the minimap
  • Show treasure on the minimap
  • Set Game speed

Inventory Cheats

  • Unlimited Shortcut items
  • Unlimited arrows and ammo
  • Unlimited Items
  • Unlimited Gold
  • Gold Multiplier
  • Edit Gems of the Departed

Stats Cheats

  • Max drop rate & Item Rarity
  • Max weapon Familiarity
  • Max Weapon Proficiency
  • Zero Ninjutsu
  • Skill Points don’t decrease
  • Zero equipment weight
  • Unlimited Amrita
  • Unlimited Glory
  • Unlimited Patronage Levels

Using a trainer is relatively easy. You need to make sure you have Wemod Trainer installed. Once you have installed it, you need to search for Nioh 2 in the trainer. If you are using a PC, be sure to set your Bitrate. Once you have entered the game using the trainer, all you need to do is activate the cheats when you need them.

Heres a video showing you how the cheats work in Nioh.

Cleaning your Weapon

Œufs de Pâques

In Nioh, there is an epic relatic function that allows you to clean your weapon before sheathing it. You don’t typically want to put a sword away full of blood, so this little hidden feature is great. Here's how to do it.

Before sheathing your weapon, make sure you are standing still. As you perform the command for your character to sheath their weapon, they will swipe the weapon toward the ground flicking the blood on the floor in a line.

Important to note that this doesn’t really work on Yokai. You can only do this with enemies that bleed, such as humans.

Izuna Drop Fist Skill

Déverrouillables

The Drop Fist is an epic technique that thrusts your opponents into the ground from jumping high together and forcing your opponent into the ground. To Unlock this move, you need to have DLC installed. Look for the Dragon Clan mission.

During this mission, you will face the Ryu Hyabusa. He is fast and loves surprise attacks, so be ready to dodge. Once you have defeated him, you will see a few purple items drop. Among them, you will find the Skill; Izuna Drop Fist Skill.

The Hidden Teahouse

Déverrouillables

The Hidden Teahouse is used to spend your glory points or decorate your hut. To unlock it, you need to do 2 things. Firstly, you need to complete the first story mission in the third region. Once you have completed the mission, check your world map.

On the world, the map selects the starting point option and choose the Teahouse on the menu.

An easy way out

Indices

If you are up against a difficult opponent or outnumbered with low life, it's best if you retreat to an area at which you can heal and escape. Hot springs are in these areas. They are typically hidden behind Nurikabe and have great healing properties.

Find hot springs and the maps and mark their positions, so you know how to get to them if you are in a hurry. A hot spring could literally be a lifesaver.

Mimic Chest

Indices

All over the map, you can find mimic chests. These are honestly annoying as you often of to go through defeating a whole armada of enemies to get killed by the mimic chest. There is an easy way to tell the difference between a mimic chest and the others.

Firstly, a normal chest has horizontal gold stripes on either side of it. The mimic chest is also the home to a spirit that deals damage to your character when released. If you stand in front of the chest and whistle, the spirit will move, and you will know if the box is a mimic or not.

Completed Story Mode

Indices

Once you have completed the story mode, there is still a lot more you can do. For one, you can focus on building your character's skill level and leveling them up more. A great way of doing this is by focusing on soul-core farming in specific areas.

A great place to start when it comes to farming for soul cores would be “The Missing Gun” mission. Here you face bosses, both mortal. Giving you double the chances of getting a soul core.

Death to Gaki

Indices

Gaki are generally the first monsters you face in Nioh 2. For the most part, they are easy to deal with. But don’t underestimate them. Gaki have the ability to get stronger depending on what ability they use.

That's why it's best to kill the Gaki as quickly as you can. At first, they deal a little damage. As they get stronger, you might find yourself in a problematic situation.

Summon Help

Indices

If you are stuck in a difficult situation, such as being outnumbered, or you are faced with a difficult Yokai it helps to have someone or something fighting with you. If you interact with the blue graves you see around, you can summon an NPC  based on the other characters in the game.

Choose characters that are most likely to complement your skill set. If you are using a bow, then get a character that is better in close combat.

Get Stronger before you Face Tougher Enemies

Indices

Throughout the map, you are undoubtedly going to come across some enemies who are much stronger than you. For example, if you come across a 25ft horse who will kill you in literally 2 swings.

It would be best if you avoid these stronger areas by bypassing them. Try to face enemies that are easier to beat as you develop your character's strength. Once you are strong enough, you can turn back and face your stronger opponents.
