Kratos’s ability “Spartan Rage” is a reference to the character’s past as a Spartan warrior.

The name Atreus comes from Greek mythology. Atreus, along with his twin brother Thyestes, was exiled for murdering their half-brother. Atreus is the father of Agamemnon and Menelaus, two important figures in the Trojan War.
