You will be in charge of piloting and stewarding the spaceship. When you begin, if you haven't got enough money from a previous attempted trip, the game gives you a set amount of money to pick a basic vessel. 

Each vessel has different upgrades that will cater to several immediate needs, i.e., sanitation, hungry passengers, entertainment, etc., and as you progress through the game, you can unlock other vessels and layouts.

You will start with the journey to Gambulon V. You will be able to choose a stop BUT make sure you note the destination checkpoint station. Also, look for threats, boons, and how much you will be paid.

You will want to use your navigational devices to fly to the next checkpoint on each leg of the voyage. It always starts out simply, with little risk to your safety, and you might even feel confident enough to pick up other passengers to earn more money, but as you progress from checkpoint to checkpoint, it will get more and more difficult. 

During the journey, the passengers will demand that you keep them fed, healthy, and entertained; otherwise, they will run around the spaceship stealing your tools or turning off the ship's critical systems to keep themselves entertained.  

You will be rewarded for every success that you have achieved. Most of the time, when you arrive at a new checkpoint, you will receive an unlock in the form of new playable crewmembers, company logos, etc., no matter how many times you have crashed. The game also gives you several means to prepare you for the next journey, but if your ship explodes, you will lose all the money you have on hand. We suggest that when arriving at the next checkpoint, you look for a bank to deposit your money into. If you have enough money, insure your spaceship, which will allow you to keep all your upgrades.  

During the journey, you will be faced with asteroid belts and fields that you will need to avoid. There will also be massive asteroids and comets that will kill you immediately upon collusion. This will affect your electrical system and cause it to falter, and you will be forced to fix it immediately, or you will lose functionality.
